Served by the owner (I think) and he was really nice! Food was amazing, we got the ricotta gnocchi and bacon and scallop pasta. 10/10 would recommend giving it a try. There’s free street parking on Joseph street nearby ?
My friend and I went for lunch and shared the spinach salad and Glazed camembert, Oh my gosh it was delicious, so good we went back for dinner and were treated to house-made pasta, probably the best I've had.The staff were great and friendly.The food was spectacular, tasty and innovative. Many choices for vegetariansWould defiantly recommend !
We were here for the first time this evening and we had the best time. We got the pasta of the day and a chicken pizza and they were both so flavourful and fresh. The owner and his son were super nice and make you feel welcomed and looked after.It’s a family business with top notch service and food. We will definitely visit again!
Highly recommend this restaurant! The owner and staff were very sweet and welcoming. We had a birthday dinner and they were very helpful with organizing it.One thing you HAVE to order is the glazed Camembert. Tried making it at home a few times and it’s never as good as the restaurant’s.
We tried out this spot at their new location. First, the food is amazing. The venue is new and very bright and airy with a great patio for drinks. The service is incredible. We had tickets to a show and were coming in from out of town. We got very late and called the restaurant to let them know we would miss our reservation. Instead of letting us go, they encouraged us to stop by anyways (45 mins late). When we showed up, there were no tables, and instead of making us wait they made a spot for us and gave us priority on the order. We actually made it to the show in time thanks to the wonderful owner and staff. It's those rare experiences like this that we always seem to remember for a little while longer. As a result, this is a restaurant that I will always certainly recommend to friends and family who are heading that way. Bravo 271West!
Ordered the 271West Shrimp Pasta. The pasta noodles were made in-house and had great texture. The shrimps were perfectly cooked. The garlic bread was toasted on one side (the other side was fluffy like a brioche bun) and it was amazing. The rosé sauce was alright.
Friendly and very attentive staff, great place for a date night. Bustling but not crowded atmosphere, very nice for sitting and chatting and savoring the food. The glazed camembert is my new favorite thing! The bacon and scallops linguine was pretty good and the serving sizes are very reasonable. I like the menu and customizability but the taste didn't hit 5 stars relative to the price.
If I could give them 6 stars I would!They were extremely friendly, and were very welcoming. It was my first time at the new location, and you can tell the staff was very excited to be there!The owner was around and came to ask if we were enjoying our meal. It’s run by a family who cares a lot about their business, and it shows. If you have time to swing by for lunch, I highly recommend their chicken club sandwich!Anyone complaining about the price clearly hasn’t left their house in the last two years. The prices were fair, and you get a nice portion size for it.
The place was packed when we got there for 7pm. After having the delicious appetizers and tasty main entrees, it is evident why this place is popular. The owner Zee is a great host, friendly and truly cares that diners have a great experience. Will definitely return to taste the other menu items. Excellent Italian dishes and wonderful, attentive service! This Italian restaurant is a Kitchener gem...must try...
