Food is amazing, Experience feels like a soft opening. Took 25 minutes for a first round of drinks, half our table got food after an hour then 30 minutes later the other half got their food. Asked for a second round of drinks with dinner and they came 20 minutes after dinner was served.Again, amazing food, horrible service(There was maybe 10 people on the patio so they were not busy)

Went for my Mother’s Day brunch and the service was the worst experience I have ever witnessed. Server claimed to input all the meals correctly and proceeded to blame it on a computer error or the Kitchen staff. Manager did nothing to compensate the lack or communication and food coming out cold or not at all. Ruined the morning for what was supposed to be a special day for our Mom. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.

I have to say that overall, this is a quality restaurant. For the times I went, the food was very good to great. I had ribs which were okay, I think I just personally didn't like the sauce. Plus I was eating on a full stomach. It's not a 5-star but it's pretty decent, all things considered. Solid 4 for sure.

For valentines they had a 3 course set menu for $45/pp. For the first course I had pulled duck confit and my partner had crab cakes. I enjoyed mine although I was worried because it looked like cat food but with the jam it was delicious. My partner said the crab cakes were okay. For our main course we had steak with truffle fries. The demi glace with the steak made it feel cheap and the fries were not fresh cut but frozen and you could barely tell they were truffle fries. Lastly the dessert board was cute and our waitress was nice. I got a rose at the end which was a nice surprise. The food was okay overall but we didn’t have a bad time.

Another reviewer commented that they felt they won the restaurant lottery when they dined at the Wharf & Feather, and I 100% agree. The Wharf & Feather hosted a large dinner event for us that started with ~60 guests but due to popularity, expanded the-day-of to almost 80. With zero notice, the chef and staff were able to provide an outstanding three-course dinner for all our guests. The soup, chicken, beef, vegetarian, and salmon dishes were all delicious as was the banana bread pudding. Everyone at the Wharf & Feather went above-and-beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time. The waitstaff was very friendly and the overall atmosphere welcoming. A+ for service, food quality, and experience. Thank you Wharf & Feather!!!

Our server was lovely - the dinner was good but the restaurant needs to figure out the lighting....it was not a cheap meal (nor terribly inexpensive) but there was zero ambiance for a $100+ meal - felt like we were eating in a cafeteria.....

Wow great place! Great experience! Thank you!

WORST SERVICE my friend and I have ever experienced. A friend and I were staying at the hotel for the weekend and decided to try this restaurant for breakfast based on the convenient location within the hotel. The website and the sign in front of the restaurant in the lobby indicated that breakfast is served until 11:00am. We arrived at 10:15 and waited patiently at the entrance for a hostess/server to seat us. At 10:30, a disgruntled server approached us looking annoyed that we were there and said sternly “you two come in here and then I’m closing.” We shrugged awkwardly and entered the restaurant (we should have left!!). The waitress moved the sign (that indicated the hours of operation) to block the entrance behind us and then left us standing there in between tables of other diners for about 10 minutes. While we stood there another pair of hotel guests approached the entrance. As the waitress was walking by she shouted at the new guests loudly “WE’RE CLOSED!” even though it was only about 10:35. The guest behind us looked shocked and tried several times to speak to the waitress as she passed by huffing and puffing and the waitress completely ignored her. We were finally seated and then waited another 20 minutes for the waitress to return to take our order. In the meantime, the ignored guest at the entrance approached the waitress and said “excuse me, the sign says you’re open until 11:00” to which the irritated waitress replied “Fine, find yourself a seat and I’ll get you served.” The waitress continued to walk around loudly sighing while doing seemingly nothing for the duration of our time there. The food was mediocre and forgettable. We each order a glass of orange juice which arrived 45 minutes later after our meals were almost done. I will say the waitress comped the juice when our bill arrived so I suppose that’s the silver lining. Overall, this was absolutely the most abysmal service I’ve ever experienced. Will absolutely never return and would recommend others steer clear unless you’re into being treated like a burden and scolded like a misbehaving child - all the while spending $50 for a nightmare breakfast.PS: Go to Peter’s Place! Absolutely lovely breakfast and top notch service!

Staying at the hotel for business purposes - although I did look at other restaurants in the area, felt like this was fast and gave me more time to finish up on work.Service was on par, nothing negative but also nothing to note positively. As shown in the picture, the Smoked Meat Sandwich was quite lack-luster. The meat was Luke-warm and didn't have much flavour profile, other then mustard no extra addons and the rye bread was very soggy on the bottom. Honestly didn't look or taste like a brisket, but a beef roast. I can only imagine the meat if warmed up in a watered pan and the meat soaked up a bit. Massive pickle, almost to big to eat (why not cut in 1/4?) Salad was decent.Next time, I am going to go to another restaurant if I stay at this hotel again.

Found this great spot for lunch. The setting on the water front patio behind the Holiday Inn was very nice. The service was very good, and the food we had was excellent. I had the fish and chips, and my wife had the homemade clam chowder which she said was amazing, both dishes were large enough portions to satisfy a healthy appetite, and I have to say, the best fish and chips I've had in a long time.
