My family visited Tom’s Place on February 8th around 1pm for lunch. It was our first meal out as a family since the beginning of the pandemic and we had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to our server Diane. She was very accommodating and patient with my parents who like to joke around with servers haha! Thank you Diane for making our experience wonderful with your lovey disposition! We will definitely be back and hope you will be our server again.

We have been staying at the adjoining hotel on various trips to hospital and doctor appointments over the past 4 months and have been eating at Tom's Place and trying various dishes during our stays. Since the covid lockdown we have enjoyed room service which was great and food was served hot. Disappointed that we couldn't eat in the restaurant because the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming with a wood-burning fireplace and pub decor. Next time.....
Again, very rare i give 5 stars but Tom's place deserves it. Hard to describe this place but its very cozy unlike any place you will have been in. All arm chairs, booths with a roaring fire place, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices and good food. If i might recommend a good red wine, it's this one attached JP Chenet. I had a glass. It's smooth as butter. Ask staff for it as I don't think its on the menu yet but the waitress we had recommended it and said it was new. It's exceptional.
Ordered an appetizer (bruschetta), and for the main I had the fish & chips. Both were incredible! I would absolutely return. I should have ordered the two piece fish because I was left wanting more! Service was good too. The atmosphere is cozy and feels nostalgic. Not many places left that look and feel this way, and it was very refreshing.
Warm, cozy, nice wine, and food. Good choice. There really isn't a lot that you can say bad about this place as there isn't anything bad to say. I enjoyed it. You have to be vaccinated to enter. Prices are on the mid to high end but so is everywhere now days.
We had a wonderful dinner at "Tom's Place" (while staying at the Best Western "Fireside Inn" in Kingston). We had a cozy table by the fire - the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. My husband said the wings were awesome and the fries were delicious. My fish was great as was the accompanying Caesar salad. All in all, a fantastic, casual dining experience! Would definitely come again...
