The outside area is dog friendly. We did not have dinner, but had a couple of drinks. We enjoyed the place. The staff were very friendly. I'm sure that we will go back.

OMG, ate here for the first time, and we were really impressed. I had the bangers and mash, James had the steak and mushroom pie... both were fabulous, the I peas on mine were under cooked, but staff took care of it right away. Our server , Shane was very attentive and we can wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
WoW look at the Smoked meat and sweet potatoes. It was so tasty and delicious. The waitress was so kind and polite. Highly recommended.

Very good atmosphere! We came here for a fun place to have a couple drinks and wind down. The drinks were good and the place is a lot of fun. A fun pub style place. A little loud and boisterous and perfect for a good time! We ended up getting a poutine to share to help mellow out all the drinks and it was huge! Perfectly salted fries, great gravy and real cheese curds. No idea how we would ever eat this solo. This place is a great place to have fun!

Best pub in town. It's not so much that the food and beer is so much different than any other pub;it's the vibe that sets The Toucan apart.You can feel comfortable here alone. You can feel safe here as a woman. You can wear whatever you like. The Toucan is a welcoming, all inclusive hole in the wall with the best bartender in town. The icing on the cake is that they have great live music at least twice a week with no cover charge. All ages, all genders, all colours and all peaceful types are welcome here.
We came at around 12:30am. They weren't serving food but we were just looking for a few drinks. They sat 7 of us quickly. The server/bartender was around as needed, easy to talk to, and made sure we were all taken care of - including wrangling a phone changer for one of my friends.Decent drinks, good selection, and some good music.
