Just drop in for a quick pint, the pickled eggs were very nice.The place was clean, the employees were very friendly and service was good.Wish we could have stay longer next time.Hope this helps.
Absolutely fantastic food and staff. The server, Bryce was fast, friendly and had a great sense of humour. As well the bartender, Tony went out of his way to greet us all as we came through the door. 10/10 experience and will be going back.
My Husband and I are regulars at this pub for a reason. The owners and staff go above and beyond the scope of any service industry you've entered. From the way you are greeted, the prompt service , the great food. These folks care. They make you feel as though you are a part of a family. We don't go anywhere else. If you want a diverse and tasty menu, if you want a friendly atmosphere, if you want to feel welcome any time you walk through the door, you need to check out The Iron Duke on Wellington, Kingston. This place rocks!!
Tony is a great bartender. Funny and kind. The security guard working was extremely thorough in his job. He greaterd us at the door and found us a spot at the bar. When he noticed my friend and I receiving unwanted attention he made sure we were in a buffer where we would not be disturbed. Great bad. Go there all the time :D
What an amazing first experience. We were sat quickly (on St Pat's). Had a dri k in our hands within 3 minutes, had prompt, amazing service from Tony our bartender, the food was hot and delicious. We will be back and recommend everybody check out this quaint little pub on Wellington!
Nice atmosphere. Bartender was very friendly and knew what beers to recommend based on our likes.
We ordered 2 servings of wings for pickup. They were able to have the food ready quite quickly and had a really convient outdoor pickup window for our order so we didn't need to go inside.The fries are good and salty, so if that's your preference you'll love them. The wings are definitely quite large and flavourful. Get a lot of food for the serving. The Habanero wings aren't as saucy as expected but still really tasty
