It is a very nice Pub. I love the location, easy to get to and next to Food Basics. Food is awesome , staff are super friendly. Pets are allowed on the patio! It’s definitely my top go-to place in east side of Kingston!
The food was okay. We got the poutine which was extremely salty to the point it was almost inedible. The 1lb pound wing was also $20 with no sides which to us was a bit over priced.Atmosphere was nice
Went for the first time tonight and had the pea soup and wellington, a vegetarian selection. My partner had the cheese steak sandwich. Everything was out to us quickly and proved to be very delicious. I asked the waitress and she informed me all dishes are prepared from scratch. The atmosphere is very inviting and clean. The waitress was very attentive and invited us to come back again, with a smile. We will definitely be back again!
First time there...dropped in on my way back to Ottawa... Service with smile and good humor. Prompt and quick with water and other beverages. Food was delicious and plentiful. I will return.
Meal was ok. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad too. It was a quiet Saturday lunch when I went so the place was almost empty. Service was good. It is nice to have options on the east end so I hope that it does well.
The Dutchess is a great little pub on the East end of Kingston, just off highway 15. It has excellent food, the staff are friendly and you can sit at the outdoor patio if you choose. The decor is warm with lots of dark wood, brick walls, a cozy bar where friends can meet. We feel lucky that a pub has finally opened up on the east side. Great to be able to share a pint ,do your shopping and not have to take 30 mintes to get home. There's also ample parking.
Great elevated pub food and dining. Lunch time options are excellent and cooked with a flair more than your average pub fayre. Good range of drafts on tap, both local and premium.
went in on a Thursday afternoon... it was packed... our server was great and very busy but did a great job... drinks were cold and well made... great small neighborhood pub feel...
Awesome time with our daughter and son-in-law... first time here. The food portions and price were very reasonable. The meal was extremely flavorful and very well presented. Service was excellent, feeling no pressure to finish... focus of this pub invites a social atmosphere. We expect to visit again the next time we are in Kingston. Cheers to the staff and management... you did a great job!
Incredible eats and atmosphere! Watched the Raptors game on the cozy corner of the bar with a nice local pilsner (Fine Balance). Service was attentive and excellent, thank you Lindsay! Maybe the best burger in town? Sneaky good spot, will definitely be going back.
