Horrible Service, I have frequented this location many times. When taking clients up to Kingston this was ulour uaual lunch spot. As time goes on, service has gotten horrible. Today I ordered a tofu fried rice and confirmed with the employee it's vegetarian so they don't put egg. They delivered a vegetarian fried rice without tofu and added egg. When we approached them to fix it the employees tried to charge me extra 3 dollars for tofu and said that vegetarian doesn't include tofu. They also stated the the order i said was to comlicsted. Communication with their current employee base seems to be horrible.Further I went through reviews for this location and it seems it's an ongoing issue. Their customer service is rude and getting orders wrong seems to be a norm. How does a franchise allow this locatoon to run without keeping business owners liable for this sort of attitude. If customers wanted to take a risk and try something different , we'd go to non franchise locations. The reason behind choosing a franchise food spot is for comfort and consistency. Very disappointed
Bland Express, food wasn't that great. Ate at other locations and it was decent but here had no flavor. It was the chicken pad Thai I ordered. I would eat at other noodle places near by, more for the value and authentic.
On google it clearly says that this place closes at 11pm. I was at the store before 10:30pm and they were closed. It would be great if you guys could get your timings sorted. I also tried calling the place several times earlier and they never pick the phone. How are we supposed to contact you guys if you dont pick up? Please try and improve the service.
Bad service, don't have service mind and cook the wrong order. The taste not even close real Thai food.
Visited the place today for quick lunch with friends. We were in the hurry so wanted to get something quick. This is first time I visited Thai Express.I order fried rice with vegetables. The food was okay and the quantity is quite good. I asked chef if I can get soup without fish or meat. But there is no soup option for vegetarians. I felt the price is on little higher side. Although you can try out if you want to try Thai food quickly.
Really good, if you enjoy cardboard in your food! Called to let them know about it and I was told "it just happens, you know?". I worked in the hospitality industry for 7 years and never experienced cardboard in someone's food, plus the person on the phone could've handled that a little better and at least apologied. Definitely better off going to local thai place in town??
Asked for the pad thai on the screen with tofu and had no tofu. Asked for the tofu to be added and was told I got vegetables instead of tofu which makes no sense. As expensive as genuine Thai restaurants. Not worth it. Also did not ask to see vaccine passport when we informed them we would be eating in. Even beside a giant sign that says we must have our vaccines to dine in.
Absolutely disgusted by the behavior of the salesperson. He took my order with a very patronizing tone and it seemed like he was doing me a favor. They use a faulty POS machine and call almost every customer twice saying 'your card didn't go through' - insinuating that the card was out of limit or declined. It has happened to me quite a number of times now. When I was asked to pay the second time (like the three other gentlemen waiting before me) because apparently 'my card didn't go through', I politely asked that have they thought of changing the machine. I was met with a very rude attitude like I committed a sin and the reply was 'no, we won't '. Dear thai express, that's not how you behave with customers.
Customer service has not been good the past two times I've ordered from this Thai Express. My order was made incorrectly and I was made to feel as though it was my fault, even though my order has been the same for over 10 years and have never had an issue at other locations. I will not be returning to this location.
Sad value for your money. Ordered the green curry and apart from 5 tiny slices of peppers, five pieces of chicken and what tasted like eggplants, it was 75% rice in the box. Taste was ok but not overwhelming. I will never try them again. The picture shows how much rice was still in the box after I finished eating and mixed the dish. Really overpriced.
