Staff are nice but absolutely zero or negative planning and managememt for large crowds. Come here in the morning and be prepared to wait for at least 40 minutes for a drink.
Love this location! Staff is great, clean store, travels well with Uber eats. Lots of vegan drink options available. Vegan food items are lacking in general at Starbucks, not a downside of this specific location but, nothing great food wise.
Usually a good experience, but once out of every few times you go, you end up with a not so great experience. With the location of this starbucks being right near so many starbucks drinkers (students), it can get extremely busy. Busy to the point where the building is packed (Which happens, its a popular location!) and many dozen orders are being cared for at once.Usually my wait times around a busy time like 12-noon range from 10-20 minutes, which i can understand is an acceptable wait time if i want to order at this super busy location. Though today they were so busy that customers were waiting minimum 20 minutes for even 1 coffee. In my case i waited 40 minutes (No joke..) for an iced coffee and sandwich. I get that wait times get longer as it gets busier, but >20 for any order at a coffee shop should not fly.This is not the fault of the employees by any means, they are doing as instructed and accepting all orders.There needs to be a limit/cap on how many orders are being handled at once to not have your customers waiting so long, whether it be giving realistic wait times on the app, (I was told I'll wait 7 minutes and it was obviously not a 7 minute wait), or shutting off uber/skip so you can focus on your in person customers as they are your priority, or should be.Such long waits result in a really dissapointing experience and cold food, especially for starbucks prices.
I was waiting on a friend who takes forever, so I decided to grab a coffee and stay warm, and it was just the ticket.
I don't even come for the coffee, I come for my daily compliment from the staff. Very friendly staff, nice coffee is a plus too
This location is always busy and bustling but the staff are friendly, professional, and efficient. They have about 5 parking spots +1 for persons with disabilities which is great for downtown! There is also really nice seasonal outdoor seating. Being so close to the university, the wait can be longer than the estimated when mobile ordering, but they always do their best and inform you upon entry if they are behind. I really appreciate the effort put forth by the Johnson/Division baristas!
The morning staff are literally the nicest people I have ever met! I go out of my way to go to this location because they just brighten my day!!! :)
Friendly staff. Good coffee. And got my red cup lol.
No complaints about the baristas, they’re all lovely. However did have to wait almost an hour for a single coffee due to staffing levels today. Happened similarly last Friday too. The staff are all doing their best, and were working efficiently just was super inconvenient.
