When it's good it's great! About half the time the general Tso chicken is fresh and crispy and the best around. The other half it's soggy and soft and been sitting there for who knows how long.

Tried Silver Wok for the first time tonight and it was really great! The General Tao Tofu was very well made and flavorful, it could have been a little more spicy. Everything was great, will be back again.

Really disappointed. I bought a huge amount of food tonight to share "the best Chinese food in Ktown", which Silver Wok USED to be. They are no longer. The food was cold even though I was there before the time given. Nothing was as it should have been. Chicken balls with a SLIVER of chicken in them and a ton of batter. The Chicken soo guy was bland and the gravy light and flavorless. The honey BBQ pork was white. No classic Red BBQ tint on the edges at all. Not even the Chicken Fried Rice had any flavour and barely any chicken. Won't ever recommend them again and probably won't be back. Super disappointed.

We have tried a few Chinese restaurants in Kingston... this is the only one we can recommend. We won't go elsewhere from now on.

Always good, and lots of it! And the staff are always friendly (and busy!).

My mother and I have been going to Silver Wok for many years and we always have great food and excellent service. The staff were so kind to me while my mother was in hospital. We highly recommend this restaurant. Their Chinese food is excellent.

Best western Chinese food, does not get any better than this!

Have been hearing about this place since moving to kingston 3 years ago and finally gave it a shot tonight. I am pretty unimpressed. Had the egg rolls (they where tasty but under filled), broccoli was overcooked and soggy and the beef was tough and grisly in the beef and broccoli. Chicken and mixed veg was ok apart from the over cooked veg. Chicken balls where a bit too much breading and not enough chicken (the breading was cooked well though and not doughy). Wonton soup was good. The mushroom fried rice was really good. Maybe we got them on a bad night because they where busy but that shouldn't be an excuse for sacrificing quality. I don't think we will be back.

My father lived in Kingston years ago and when I moved here he told me Silver Wok was the best Chinese food restaurant in town. He wasn't wrong! The only place in Kingston I will go for Chinese food!
