I’ve had great experiences at raxx before but tonight was just awful. I ordered the ribs as it was their special tonight, they came out and were cold. When I asked for them to be heated up or to get another rack the server brought me another rack and said if I decide to go to the washroom again (which I did before the first rack) to let her know so she could put them under the hot light. While I went to the washroom again to test this theory the server came over to my table and told the people I was sitting with that she hoped that while I was in the washroom the ribs would not get cold again, we paid and I left and as I was outside waiting for my friends she came once again to the table and condescendingly said that she hoped my ribs weren’t too cold. Terrible server and extremely rude.
Went for wing night and half way through our wings we noticed two or three in each basket were red in the middle. Red not pink, were completely uncooked in the middle. Showed the waitress and she apologized and scurried away to her manager. She came back saying the manager agreed that they were not cooked so he was going to wipe it from our bill and redo our wings. Who wants wings after they’ve just ingested non cooked ones? The worst part about it was that the manager didn’t come show his face and left it all on the waitress. Paid $40 since we had other things on the bill and left without finishing our drinks. Waitress was super embarrassed and apologetic, insisted we at least take the wings to go so she tried her best. Last wing night I’ll attend but Raxx is so popular you know they don’t care about losing one persons business.
Good food, good atmosphere and good staff. Lots of pool tables as well. Outside appearance is rough and interior is a bit dark. Overall good experience and great place to have some good and cheap wings.
It is a nice place to share with friends. Great staffs and an affordable price. The day I was there, was not having a live performance, but they provide it as well. I recommend it.
What a wonderful time my husband and I had.It was his retirement party ?I called a week ago to make arrangements, it was all good.When we arrive we were great ask for our proof of shots,we told her who we were ,we went over to the tables at the back, my husband played pool for a bit, then our guests began to show up.Evenone was treated like kings and queens,our watreas was amazing ? ???,so served everyone, then some got food that was all very good no complaints....Thank you all for making my husband Dave's retirement party memorable ❤
Good food and fun atmosphere. Drinks are delicious and they have good daily deals. Staff is very friendly and the pools tables are a fun bonus!
Amanda our server is fantastic! Had the steak dinner and shared nachos. Everything was hot and prepared correctly.
Tasty tasty dinner. Arancini balls were perfect - light, crispy & flavourful. Beef dip was fantastic with excellent jus (more like a tasty gravy) and the quesadillas was thick & packed with goodness! Really hit the spot! Happy to support local independent business too. A+
Well that was a huge disappointment. Friday steak night is not what it used to be. Steak was more than a 1/4" thinner than it used.to be. Our friend had the fish and chips and they were burnt!!!! Whoever heard of well done fish batter????? Since the lockdown it hasn't been the same at all. Shame. We used to bring people here from out of town.
Had an interaction with the “so-called manager” and he was aggressive and ignorant. He was very unprofessional and lacked customer service/ communication skills. We are very hesitant to return to Raxx from our experience. I do not recommend this restaurant to any new customers. Raxx should hire a new manager to manage the restaurant, staff and customers. We will not be back!!!!
