Hubs and I discovered Portsmouth Tavern during the pandemic as we made our way through the available restaurants in Skip the Dishes. I'm so glad we did! They make the best beef dip sandwich, and their fries are delicious. We do takeout now and the food is always ready quickly so it's nice and hot even by the time we drive home!
I haven't had the pleasure of dining-in yet but I have ordered take-out 3 or 4 times and the food was amazing each time! Wraps, burgers, sandwiches all fantastic! Highly recommend!
Excellent lunch with friends. 1st time there. Our server was great I forgot to ask her name. I had the chicken ceasar wrap it was excellent. Coffee was good! Will go back again for sure.

I was very happy to see how much attention to Covid protocols the Ports is doing. Their food is good, and the staff are great. The only real issue with the place is it is so noisy.
Quaint, old, historical. Didn't try food, but beers were good.
