I wish there is -10 stars to give. I couldn't wait to give this review as each time I order food here, a different worst experience. I ordered chicken on the rocks with extra sauces (paid for it) because how many times I tell my order, it has been dissappointing. And now, all I could see and taste was just sauces. I had to search for chicken. It was the worst thing ever. I don't get if they understand what the customer wants.
Preface - I like spicy food. Ordered from here on UberEats and asked for “medium” spicy level on a wrap. However, the wrap was so hot, hot - extra hot levels, that it was almost inedible. My mouth was on fire! Didn’t really seem to me to be as advertised, since I don’t think a normal customer would expect that much spice. Otherwise the wrap was tasty, just too spicy.
Sure you want my review? First time order; watched them make my wrap; tear it half open while grilling it so the contents spilled out and then proceed to try and wrap up the mess and hand it to me. Gave them benefit of the doubt that maybe it was good so I took it home and emptied it into a bowl and can only describe it as badly spiced hamburger helper; tossed it and made hotdogs instead.
Whenever we order with delivery through SkipTheDishes something is always wrong. They constantly forget our drinks, get our order size wrong, and skimp out on the garlic sauce. It's a shame -- their food tastes great and as someone from the GTA, I was over the moon when Osmow's announced they were opening in Kingston. However, ordering through delivery has been disappointing. I'll have to drive out to get our food from now on to ensure they did not mess up the order. Disappointing.
The food is pretty good. The gardeners location always smells like somebody used the washroom in the middle of the lobby and let it sit for a week. I’m not really sure why, but it’s very off putting. I don’t mind eating the food, but the smell when I’m ordering makes me not want to proceed.
Osmow's chicken on the rocks has been my comfort food for over a year and I had previously left 5 stars. I'm editing my review to 1 star based on my experiences over the past few months.I always order chicken on the rocks (medium & scorching hot) and over the past 6 months, Osmows has gotten my order wrong most of the time. One week you find ample red sauce and the next week there is barely any. Similarly the portions also vary order to order and most times these days, the portions tend to be on the lower end. It's gotten to the point that each time I order, it's like a guessing game which is so frustrating !The final straw was last night when I opened my box to find half the portion missing (photo attached). It's so disappointing as Osmows has been my favorite food joint in Kingston and it's not anymore. Hopefully the team fixes this!
It was totally different compared to other Shawerma near-by. They don't have potato same as other Shawermas. It was not Shawerma.
Fast and friendly service, fresh hot food, great flavours.
The flavours were pretty good. However we ordered off Skip and all the sauces offered said they were 'on the side'. Thinking this would be a great way to try different sauces, we requested several. However they were all piled on top of the platter, drowning it in a mix of sauces. The garlic sauce on the side for the fries was also on top, which was a problem for the kids. Request for no onions was also not followed.Decent food but all instructions were ignored.
Shwarma is different but tastyNice environment with good lighting and friendly staff ?
