I do recommend this restaurant. We were a party of 4. On the patio. Everyone enjoyed their meal (bruschetta, ragu tagliatelles, sea food pasta, bolognese tagliatelles and desserts). Very good!! The service was perfect. Thank you for the nice evening!

This place is definitely a very good choice for diner or lunch! We had the truffle fries for appetizer and it was sincerely the best fries we ever tasted with an amazing sauce. The pasta were really good, definitely on our top 5 pasta. Good service, nice staff, great ambiance. Give it a try!

Best food and Wait Staff! Very clean and beautiful atmosphere for dining - best to make reservations ✅

Classic Italian restaurant. I loved the atmosphere which made the great food taste even better, and all the staff there were super helpful and friendly and weren't afraid to make small talk. The portions were pretty big and the unlimited bread was definitely the highlight of the meal. All in all a solid restaurant.Parking: There was almost no parking at the restaurant, but it was nice to walk around and see the different stores and markets.

Went with my wife and 3 teenage daughters. Food was very good. Mostly pastas and the seafood linguine was excellent. There was a chickpea fitter appetizer (panelle) that was recommended and very good. My daughters gobbled it up. Good gluten free options available too. On the pricy side but would go back. The waiter we had (wish I could remember his name) was very good at making suggestions.

Enjoyed dinner on the patio served by Sam. The feature pasta, the ravioli Gorgonzola made with fresh ingredients and a light tomato sauce was delicious. Truffle frites with Parmesan was crispy and tasty. Unfortunately I cannot give a perfect score due to the inconvenience of not having accessible washrooms.

We have been to Olivea numerous times...maybe at least 10. Our last 2 experiences have not been positive. Father's Day was the most recent experience. Our entrees took more than 30 minutes to arrive. The quality of the food was very good but the overall experience was not. I observed a server eating food in the open kitchen. Another server who had long hair was playing with their hair while waiting at the food station. When we asked for more bread, we were advised that there may not be enough and they would have to wait and see. Although they did return with more bread, the server seemed disturbed when I asked for it.With our previous experience, the portion size was an issue. The quantity of seafood in the entree was more of an appetizer rather than an entree. The food quality was also mediocre. My husband emailed the restaurant to provide feedback and to this day he has not received a response.I think we will need to find another "favourite" restaurant. It's too bad because we were promoting this to our friends/families....whenever you are in Kingston check out Olivea but I don't think that will happen moving forward!!

Loved it here! Food was delicious, staff were attentive, and service was quite fast. Main dishes are mostly pasta, seems like even some of the pasta is made in house. Perfectly cooked. Will definitely be backVegetarian options: Small vegetarian options, however I feel like alot of their meals could easily be requested as vegetarian

We recently ate here and were really disappointed. The service and atmosphere were great, the food not so much. The seafood stew was disgusting and the rest of our party had various pasta options. All were very dry and bland. Would not recommend.

We were a group of twelve who had a Thursday night reservation. We were seated comfortably in a side room. Our server Sam was excellent! Thank you Sam! Hubby enjoyed a Makers Mark Manhattan. We shared six oysters on the half shell. I had the Penne Arrabbiata, he had the Pasta Carbonara. Both entrees were outstanding! Everyone loved the food, the ambiance and the service. This is a must-visit when in Kingston!
