Nice ambiance and fresh food. Their kababs and butter chicken naan is quite famous around the block and they taste delicious as well. The amount is also gracious for 2 peoples. Good place for a quick grab on those if you’re travelling to and from Kingston.
Took a break at Kingston to fill gas and to eat something for a late lunch. While looking for a halal place to eat, my wife suggested this restaurant. Based on google reviews we thought why not give this a try. Not a fine dining restaurant but mostly takeouts. Thought there are some benches for people to eat if one wish to dine in. The women who was behind the counter welcomed us and gave us the time to decide what we want to order. Eventually after some discussion, we placed our order. The women who was behind the counter seems to be the only person running the restaurant at that time. Anyhow, after placing the order we paid first and the food came 10 minutes later. We ordered chicken biriyani, naan, butter chicken and mixed vegetables. The foods were served in one time plastic boxes, with plates, utensils and napkins. The food were hot and fresh. I cannot express how tasty the food was with a homely touch to it. While having the food, we had a small chat with the women and came to know it’s family run business and they immigrated from Pakistan. Amazing food and great service as well. A must try place in Kingston, if you’re looking for halal options.
Excellent food experience today at Naan Stop!! The food is delicious and fresh! Chappli Kebab is amazing and the green chutney with it is fresh and tangy!! Chicken tandoori tenderwith fresh salad. Palak paneer is a wonderful vegetarian dish. The bread/naan is freshly baked!! Their kheer in dessert is a must try- you will not be disappointed. A visit is highly recommended. The lady who prepared our order provided great customer service- good management skills! The
This place serves some of the most iconic Pakistani dishes with love, passion, and flavour. From the outside, it doesn't seem like much, but I guarantee that you will enjoy your time here. The aunty here makes everything herself by hand and fresh. I highly recommend their Chapli kabab and butter chicken with fresh butter naan but everything is wonderful including the Biryani and tandoori chicken. The chai was also amazing!
It's an ok ambience. AC was not working or not effective due to ventillation issues or open concept kitchen. A single person was working it all, in fact she is very hard working. Hats off to her. Food was tasty. Overall it's ok, if you are hungry to eat which is open through whole day, run by a hard working lady,. Note: all the so called 'indian' restaurants (except this place)close between 2 to 5pm even in the weekends to take naps. Compared to those lazy bunch this place is better.
Food was really fresh and delicious. The place was very clean great service. Definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
Had lunch at Naan Stop while visiting Kingston and ordered Chapli Kabob. The food was absolutely delicious. Naan bread was freshly made and it was served with Chatni and salad. Place is clean and has lots of seating spaces. A nice place for family to have lunch or dinner. If you’re in Kingston you must try it!
OrderedGarlic NaanChicken KarahiChicken ManchuriaShahi PannerEverything was fantastic!!!!There was only One woman who did all this and there were also take-ins. Kudos to her. When I asked you are all alone in this restaurant, she replied -" we came alone and leave alone from this world" :)
Amazing chappli kabab and naan! With the spicy raita, it was super delicious. Finish it off with the deliciously sweet chai. Highly recommend.
They make amazing chapli kababs! So tasty and juicy.Their naans are also very soft and fresh. We did takeout as their dine in was closed. Their biryani was ok.
