Everything about this place was amazing. The food, service, drinks and atmosphere. I would definitely make a reservation because we were lucky to get a seat at 5 on a Saturday. My only complaint is that their guacamole could have had a little more flavor but it was easily remedied by the copious amounts of hot sauces. If we come back to the area you bet we will be back for another amazing meal
This place has great food and an awesome atmosphere. Come, chill with your friends while eating some good quality, cheesy ooey gooey dishes! The birria tacos are highly recommended! I gave it 4 stars because we found the food a bit too oily but we would definitely return!
Had dinner here last night and it was amazing. Family was all back in Kingston and we took them out for dinner. Great table on patio, lots of choices,big servings and staff were fantastic and friendly. We had enchiladas, fish tacos and seafood paella. All top notch! Highly recommend if you’re in the west end.
The food, drinks, and service were extremely good! It was really busy but they were very accommodating. We didn't have a reservation so when we arrived they asked us if we thought we were going to be longer that 1 hour and 45 minutes, because they had a table but needed it after that time frame for the reservation. We were really happy with that as we figured that would be an appropriate amount of time to have supper and not feel rushed. It was plenty of time. A little bit on the higher priced side, but I thought it was worth it for what you get! Will definitely return next time I'm in Kingston.Picture is of the enchiladas with a sangria, and of a spicy margarita (which was SO good)
Awesome food.Got charge 5$ for extra sauce, that was a little to much. But great experience overall
Great food, wonderful staff, and a beautiful setting with two outside patios. The owner makes an effort to buy local and has a large selection of draft beers and a nice wine list by the glass, all at very reasonable prices. For those who like it spicy they have a selection of about a hundred different hot sauces to try. Lots of fun.Make a reservation as they can get busy at times.
First timer! Loved my meal and the atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are a fan of mexican!
DELICIOUS. Some of the best tacos and drinks I've had in Kingston. Probably the best, actually. However, the service was slow and the atmosphere was super loud. Like, couldn't hear the person next to you talking at 6pm on a Friday! The staff were so nice and the food was amazing, but the service was slow and the place was crazy loud. I would recommend!
The atmosphere was trendy and upscale. It is not typical of Mexican decor or music. However, the food and drinks are amazing. The Hibiscus Margarita was a beautiful fuschia shade of pink. The hibiscus syrup is made in-house. The Chimichanga was quite large and stuffed well with rice, meat, beans with a garnish of pickled onion. The Tacos Pescado had 3 tacos with a battered fish. The batter was light and similar to a tempura. It came with some shredded cabbage and pickled onion. Our sides were in-house made tortilla chips with guacamole and in-house made fries with a lime salt; though neither of us could taste any lime. This restaurant is highly recommended.
Went last night for my 40th birthday dinner and the food was incredible. The Flautas were so delish and we also got chips with the verde cream sauce to start which were so yummy. Food was hot, fresh and very large portions. We will be back for sure!
