Horrible experience - they refused to take reservation for same day when we had a party of 15… we walk past to our other restaurant later that evening and they were not even full :-( badly ran business
Yummy food as always and a delicious and fun margarita! The patio is nice and service was good!
Let me start off by saying our server was wonderful given the circumstances. Her section was completely full and she was running for her life, still super pleasant and professional.My husband and I ordered a Caesar each and they were horrid. The Clamato wasn’t Clamato, the entire drink tasted like water with Tabasco. So either they’re watering down the clam or they need to get a better supplier.Our food arrived in a pretty timely manner my son had the kids steak fajitas which he enjoyed. My husband and daughter both got steak fajitas too which they were enjoying until my daughter bit into a piece of steak and there was hair cooked into it. My daughter informed our server and she was quick to remedy the situation asking her manager to remove it from the bill which they did.My other daughter and I split a nacho which was a mess. Glob of cheese in the middle, burnt chips on the outside with very minimal ingredients throughout and for 20$ the portion was laughable.Overall we won’t be back, not because of the service but because of the lack of care with food prep.
Great time had, once again, at the Lone Star. The bartenders were great and so was the other staff we had interactions with.
I first went to the Lone Star resto in 1989 and it was pretty good- reasonable prices for monster portions. It has changed somewhat. The portions were rather small and didn't fil me up- I ordered the fajitas- and there was barely enough meat for four (small) fajitas. Rather disappointing. The staff were polite but unrefined- new I guess. The atmosphere was the same as before and |I did appreciate that. I sat on the deck on a nice day and it was very pleasant. All-in-all t was worth the visit- I just wish the portions were reasonable.
The food was fantastic and we enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. The nachos and the sauce at the beginning was so tasty. The chicken wing was fabulous and the CURLY FRIES is badly recommended. Keep us the good quality guys.
Great place to hangout with friends! Food was alright, pretty pricey for what you get but you are paying for the experience and location.
We use to go out quite often, but when a basic burger and fries is $19.00, we take less than that and buy more and better stuff and eat at home. These restaurants are just ripping people off, and we no longer will support these reataurants unless they make their prices reasonable. Support this new movement and stay home!
As always, the food here is very good. We love coming here and feel it’s the best Lone Star because of the location. It’s an old firehouse in downtown Kingston. Inside the building has great atmosphere because of that. The outside which is called Margaritaville has a great atmosphere all it’s own. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. I was sad though that the beans are not refried anymore. Please guys bring back the refried beans!!
Awesome selection of big fancy summer drinks and killer steak. Service is fast.
