I have visited Limestone many times and food is always excellent and consistent, but today was disappointing. I asked for chicken wings and beef nihari they were both not available. I ordered stuffed nan with chaplee kebab it was filled with rice never have I ever seen stuffed nan with rice. The tandoori chicken was good and the service was also good. Interestingly their paneer and chicken tangine cost the same !

Where do I begin?!This is one of the best restaurants for high quality BBQ, that you can enjoy with your family or friends!!The dishes we had were so tasty and prepared well!!We ate here twice and it had been just amazing

In general it is a good Indian restaurant. Avoid the Kebab - pictured - really bland and has no relationship to any Afghan kebab I ever had. The chicken tandoori however is very good, as well as the Vegetable - Potato Samosas. The bread is authentic, prices & service are reasonable.

I enjoyed my paneer naan; though I've had Palak paneer and saag paneer often and this was a very different flavour than what I'm used to... Very earthy. The foods were very nice and colourful and quite a bit to eat!... Lovely wife says her dinner was monotonous and bland even though it looked very flavourful ? my mom was with us and she enjoyed her meal but usually has more to say about the food and didn't say much about it. Price medium to high... Maybe back again but there's lots to choose from in ktown *

Our family enjoyed our dinner at the limestone kabob house. My husband got the palak stuffed naan, and my mom in law and I both got different platter dishes. The portions were very generous and the food was very fresh. Afghan bread was soft and yummy. We all found the dishes to be lacking in flavour and 'boring'. The service was okay, very quiet waitress and non-descriptive when asking questions about the menu. Honestly we won't return for a meal here, just because we found the experience to be lacking in flavour but i think that is our palate. Would recommend for a fresh and mildly flavoured meal.

So disappointed with this visit. I've been many times before covid and ordered pick up feast through covid (mother's day or father's day in particular) and really enjoyed this place. We were taking my mother out for something special and different and thought it was a sure thing. We were the only table when we arrived on a Sunday evening at 6:45pm. They used to offer complimentary tea which was really flavorful, now it's $2.99 and didn't taste the same. We were also double charged for it. The afgan bread used to be served 2 pc and with a tomato chutney, now no chutney and 1 slice. We ordered a chutney for another .99 and it was vinegary tasting and no chunks of tomato. The Boulanee that I always order was burnt all along the outside. I ate it anyway. To add insult to injury I was charged $2 more then what it said it cost on the menu. When I brought this to the servers attention her response was just "the menu needs to be updated". So be aware that you are not paying all the prices that are on their own menu in the restaurant. The part I hesitate to mention is that we weren't treated with the same speed and friendly manner as the other 3 tables that arrived after us. We are a mixed race family. Once the other 3 tables arrived the server was done with us. With us she was quiet and unenthusiastic. With the other 3 tables she literally ran to them with each dish and she was eagerly speaking in their language. We did not feel welcome or appreciated as customers. I really enjoy the flavors of the food and had been at least half a dozen times in the past but unfortunately that was the last time.

Since my review was not posted on Doordash I thought I would post it here. So I ordered Mantu and received a sloppy presentation of 6 dumplings which were falling apart and had small pieces of meat inside instead of actually being filled with meat stuffing like a normal dumpling. The food was cold and this was disappointing since I scheduled my order from hours in advance and I noticed the dasher was delayed waiting for the restaurant to supply the order.Lastly, it did taste okay, I think they can do better by separating the sauce instead of drowning all the mantu in the yogurt sauce because maybe some people don't like that much sauce??

Great quality Afghan food. The fine mix of cultural spices and the long cooking process makes the meat very tender. I have tried many dishes on the menu all have been delicious!! 5 stars.

Went there for the first time and they served stale biriyani. Never in my life i had seen shredded chicken in biriyani. Looked like they had the rice ready and then added left over chicken from other dishes. The server lady asked how is the food, i replied to her that the biriyani was off. She just didn’t say anything. If she has nothing to say on a feedback thn y bother to ask !? May b thats part of her job to ask so she just asked but had nothing to say as she knows she served stale biriyani. The chapli kabab was really good and fresh. Thats why I didn’t give 1 star. You guys should do better. If you dont have fresh food thn just dont serve. Ask the customer to choose something else .

Limestone is one of our favorite go to place if we want to try some middle eastern cuisines, and afghani bread. One of the best item is the tea which was complimentary earlier but now we can pay and get it, and its worth the cost.Out of many items, we usually go with the day’s special sometimes and then there’s biryani, veg platter, afghan bread.
