You really need to try this place (not sponsored). Portion is amazing, service is amazing, food is so gd good. Its my favourite routine sushi place in all of Kingston.
Kpop Sub Sushi actually one of my favourite spots in Kingston. I'm so glad to have given this place a chance, despite walking by it many times. The food is fresh, the portion is amazing, and to top it off, the prices are very reasonable. The owner of the store is also very nice and I look forward to coming back to try other sushi subs!
Recently visited Kingston for a hockey tournament and found this gem. These sushi burritos are priced reasonably but the owner jam packs them with your choice of protein(s), 2 sauce options, and 5 toppings, all on a large bed of rice and salad. Everything was fresh as it was so busy in there the line went out the door with hungry locals. Would definitely recommend!
First time trying this place, I was very excited to try this since I heard highly about it, however, I was slightly disappointed on some aspects. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff (probably the owner) and we ordered the food. Many of the things on the menu looked very appetizing - we ordered a shrimp tempura burrito and it came with 5 toppings (with a HUGE variety to choose from). The burrito looked great as they were building it - paid around $12 after taxes for the entire thing.On a downside, it seemed like the hygiene of the sushi bar was not as tight as the standard should be. The fryer for the tempura did not seem like been cleaned for a while, and the rice was very hard like it has been left out of its container for a few hours. As well, the staff did not change gloves before making our burrito - however I did notice that he did indeed change it for the NEXT customer (just be sure to pay attention if you have allergies!)Overall, it was a very upbeat place that is loved by the Kingston community, and I am delighted to hear that it is not usually like this. I would give it another shot, however, the first impression will be the review! Just be sure to be clear with your expectations if you have any allergies!
Best Sushi Burrito, I wish they had more establishment outside of Kingston
t's the perfect place to come if had a hard day or wanttorewardyourself. Instead it always feels like a sunny day. The food is messy but amazing and will hit the spot. There is good variety and the gentleman who runs the place is quite friendly. It works kinda like subway but you make a sushi wrap.

Small local restaurant. Great food and great attitude from the man (owner?). Portion is big and the sushi burrito is very tasty. It's a hidden gem.

A really creative and delicious way to eat sushi! I loved the experience of coming to this small, cozy store - and getting amazing suggestions for ingredients from the talented owner. The price was also very fair for the fresh and tasty ingredients used!
