Great service but the breakfast was forgettable. A solid 59%. I had the eggs Benny and my partner had the four points breakfast. We ate more than half of the meal but only due to the franks red hot. Nothing was seasoned enough; it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The coffee was basically hot water. The service on the other hand was really good; we were seated fast, got our order in right away and food was hot/served quickly.
The waitress walked in as we were lined up and took people behind us in line to he seated before us and when we said something about it she rudely told us she had no way of knowing even though we were clearly further ahead in the line and had been waiting a great deal longer, she was rude, inprofessional and kept us from getting our food on time
The food was decent but the wait staff really ruined the experience the waitress we had was unpleasant and made us late for our train
Great food, fun atmosphere, top notch experience!
We were visiting, everywhere was booked solid, I called this place and was greeted with a very friendly welcome, we walked 2 blocks to the four points Sheraton, andcthere we foundcthis fabulous hidden gem ! , off the beaten path a little , but definitely Worth it!!. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, as well as accommodating to one of us who had a severe allergy. The food was an amazing surprise of flavor ,each bite was more tasty than the last?. Food presentation was on point ? 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ Rating
My wife and I had breakfast here during a recent stay at the Four Points. Although I cannot recommend the hotel, the breakfast was good. We had eggs benedict and an omelette. OJ was from a machine (gross), but coffee was nice and hot. Service was fast and friendly. Great location, too, not far from the waterfront.
I dined at Sizzle because I am temporarily in a wheelchair and was looking for a restaurant in Kingston with an accessible washroom. Though they advertise the washroom is wheel chair friendly this is false information. Anyone in a wheelchair who would try and open the heavy door to enter the washroom could easily hurt themselves, and would be taking a risk while holding the door and trying to navigate his or her wheelchair!
The hot bread and homemade butter at the beginning was amazing! The cinnamon butter had a delightful hint of cinnamon and I didn't expect to like it but Was pleasantly surprised.Staff were friendly! Decor was homey, although being in a basement I missed the daylight. Lots of room for groups and families
My review is a bit late, but I did not want to write it to soon after the experience, as I wanted to be fair.Quite possibly, one of the worst group experiences I have been involved in.This was a Friday evening (6:30pm) dinner for a work group of 10, and we seemed to be the only guests in the entire restaurant... you would think the service would have been excellent? It was not. From the very beginning, we felt we were an inconvenience to the server. It took several minutes to get our first drink order, and then when he came around for the apps, he seemed to be rushing us. No sooner had the apps been ordered, he was taking orders for our mains... again, rushed. We did manage to get a second drink order in.The apps arrived and within 5 minutes the mains arrived... did I say we felt rushed? The only reason this review was 3 stars and not 2, is because most of us enjoyed the food itself. No offer for dessert, coffee or more drinks. The server just brought the bills. So, we paid, and took the short walk to Jack Astor's where we stayed and enjoyed our evening until well after 1am. A lost opportunity for KSS, and I know I will not be back.
Husband and I both had two eggs with toast, I had fruit with it. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was attentive, pleasant, quick.
