Friendly. Like the upgrades they've made.
Overall had a very pleasant experience when we came in the other day. Staff were courteous and the food was delicious, as well as being reasonably priced for the portion size (my husband couldn't finish his Thigh meal and had to take some home which is rare) One small note I had though was our server was wearing a very different style from the rest of the staff. Fishnet arm sleeves, a short black skirt, and a completely different style of shirt, as well as black lipstick. I don't really care how people choose to present themselves but I felt that the style of dress did not match the tone of the restaurant, especially when everyone else was in jeans and a plain black shirt. I feel somewhat old fashioned discussing it but it just felt off to me. Other than that an amazing night and we will be back for sure
Well we walked in the host was very nice seating us, until we started waiting for our server. Took roughly 15-20 minutes to get asked if we wanted drinks. When she finally stopped by after realizing we’ve been waiting, she asked what we would like to drink, I go ahead and ask for a beverage that’s on their menu, and she proceeds to tell me they do not serve that drink anymore. So she suggests we take some time to look at the menu and leaves. At this point we are tired of waiting so we decided to leave. We would’ve liked at least a suggestion from her on what I could have gotten instead after waiting.
Amazing restaurant :) Good staff and food
If I could give less stars I would. Ordered ahead of time for curbside pickup. Arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before the stated pickup time and checked in as requested. I sat in the car for over 40 minutes waiting for my order and by the time they brought it out to me it was lukewarm at best. I understand that restaurants are busy but a 40 minute wait time for a takeout order is ridiculous! Had it not already been charged to my credit card I would have left. Worst restaurant ever!
We enjoyed lunch here Sunday, May 6th. The new decor is very nice including the repurposed beer kegs in the men’s washroom. Our server Mika was attentive and friendly, and our food was fresh and delicious. My son’s girlfriend who is vegetarian loved the Sonoma salad. I recommend this Kelsey’s!
Pretty “meh” meal for me but I guess what you would expect from a chain-type restaurant. Not much curry flavour, zero spice, a lot of vegetables and very little chicken. It wasn’t bad by any means, it was just “meh.” Our server was very nice and patient as we had a little guy with us who made a mess, bonus points for that.
I was super excited to order my fav their balsamic chicken, my husband got the rib/wing combo and our daughters split a sirloin steak meal. It was so disappointing to say the least... Everything was burnt (my chicken tasted so strongly of charcoal with barely any sauce, which was the entire reason for us ordering from Kelsey's), the steak was not medium rare and the veggies were barely steamed. The only thing I enjoyed was their broccoli cheddar soup which is always amazing. I don't normally complain but when I called their response was to just send out a voucher which I haven't received it yet but I doubt it comes close to the almost $100 we spent on inedible food. We usually love Kelsey's but we always go to Belleville location :(Update: I received a prompt personal message from the restaurant apologizing for the food not being up to standards and asking for us to give them the chance to make it right on our next visit. It shows how much they value their customers opinions and our patronage. We will definitely be ordering again very soon and are looking forward to the amazing quality food that Kelsey's has always been known for.
ordered food off DoorDash from this establishment. Scheduled around 6:45 on March 12th, it arrived at 7:30. That would’ve been fine however all the food was absolutely cold. No heat was given off it whatsoever. The door dasher told me that when she went to the restaurant they had just started to make our order. I don’t know if that’s the truth, considering it was so cold when it got here. The food was mediocre at best, didn’t even help when it was heated up. The Alfredo was very bland and only had 4 pieces of chicken in my portion. My father ordered their burger and it had a really funny taste to it apparently, he said it tasted like sawdust in the meat. My mom had their balsamic chicken and it was fine. Overall not the best experience. Spent over 80 dollars here and the food was just awful. Would not come again.Update: ended up puking twice after this meal
My husband forgot vaccine document. Bailey the hostess accessed his vaccine document and put both of our documents on our cell phone, We had lovely lunch. Bailey went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we now have document . Thanks so much .
