Definitely a cute little Cafe right by the water! There is a small trail that you can enjoy near the cafe too! The cafe has a great atmosphere and friendly service. The outdoor patio looks like a great spot to relax, and the interior is a great spot to converse and have a quick drink or snack! The little reading nook in the window is definitely a nice touch. Overall the cafe should be on your list if you are visiting the area!
Easily the best café in Kingston.Soups, sandwiches, and salads are always fresh and delicious. Their baked goods are complex in flavours and diverse in selection; pair one with their pilot coffee and look out over lake Ontario for an amazing lunch.The owner and staff are wonderfully kind and knowledgeable, which has made Juniper an easy choice for any time we feel like an elevated, yet accessible meal.
What a gem of a place! I’ve been meeting my sister in Kingston for decades and we’ve always been enchanted by this beautiful city and all it offers to proclaimed foodies ❤️This weekend we met at the Juniper Cafe ~ cutest place thus far! We arrived this past Saturday shortly after it opened so it wasn’t busy yet but within an hour… there was a steady flow of people!It is located on the water which is an added bonus - we’re definitely coming back in the warmer months to take advantage of their outside seating.Our coffee and breakfast sandwiches were scrumptious - you’re sure not to be disappointed with the heavenly fresh baked goods and java smells …
Its my favourite cafe, i love the food here, its delicious and its my favourite coffee and tea place. Their coffee and tea are the best. Its the quality. The people do great job. ? and i love the view where its located.

Favourite cafe in all of Kingston. Hidden at the back of the Tett on the water!! The Brie LT is easily my favourite sandwich ever and I have driven up to Kingston from Ottawa just for this sandwich. As a vegetarian, I often have a difficult time finding enjoyable and still filling foods, however the Brie LT is everything!! Their coffee is super tasty, and most of the staff that work there are super friendly:). I recommend going when it’s warmer and sunnier out so you can experience their gorgeous patio out back.
Amazing vibe, food and great coffee. Love coming here but not a fan of the no laptop policy from 11-2. I get some students like hanging here for hours after buying a single cup of coffee but if I’m spending 28 bucks on lunch I’d like use my laptop.
Long lines are worth the wait. I do wish they had more seating. Yummy food!
I’ll start by saying it was a little hard to find the first time visiting. Unless I missed them, there weren’t any signs to say where in the building it was located. So we walked around aimlessly for about 10 minutes until we saw chairs on a patio down by the water.I ordered a London Fog & a muffin. Both were delicious. They have a few gluten free options I believe and my friend seemed to enjoy it. Very cute inside, but a smaller space. The patio in the summer would be lovely. Will be back!
