Jade Garden used to be our go to but this will be my last visit. The flavour is standard Americanized Chinese food…nothing special. It used to be fantastic but something has changed and now it’s just meh. The spring rolls tastes like previously frozen store brand and the chicken fried rice tasted like greasy day old rice re-fried.The final straw for me was paying $11.50 for the beef and broccoli and having only three small pieces of beef in the order. Just not worth the money any more.

Was disgusting. General Tao chicken was something I have never seen before. Soya sauce based sauce. Chicken was fatty and likely thigh meat. Bacon in the fried rice was deep fried. Again. A first. Chop suey was soggy like over cooked spaghetti noodles. The bulk of the chicken and vegetables must have been in someone else’s order because there 3 small slices of chicken. 2 small pieces of broccoli and 4 slices of mushroom. At least that’s what it looked like. Kind of.Spring roll came from Costco. Actually likely not. It would have been better. It came from somewhere Leave it at thatWonton soup wasn’t totally bad. I wouldn’t order seconds.A total disappointment and waste of money.Do yourself a favour. RUN AWAY

Ordered take out. Not good. General Tao chicken was disgusting. Soy sauce base sauce. That was a first. Chicken was fatty and not white meat. Chop suey was soggy, like over cooked spaghetti noodles Again. A first. Bacon Fried Rice was another disappointment. Bacon was deep fried. Can’t say I’ve ever had that in fried rice. Fried yes. Never deep fried. The spring roll came from Costco. Actually. If it was, then it would have been better. So let’s just say it came from somewhere. Wonton soup wasn’t terrible but not wanting seconds either. All in all A disgusting meal and a terrible waste of money

The ole’ Christmas Day Chinese food. Food was ok, your standard run of the mill Chinese food, nothing to write home about. The squid was our favourite however it was soggy rather than crispy.

Tastes like every Canadian-Chinese food I've ever had, it was good. Only thing I noticed here (and was not a fan of) was how they put the red sauce over the chicken balls when theyre in the container instead of putting the sauce in a separate container (this was takeout). This mean't that if you didn't like the red sauce, you can't eat the chicken and if you wanted to eat the leftovers the next day, they may be soggy. Price here was also standard for this type of food. Other then the minor issue, would order from here again.

Been coming here for years. The food is okay, but it's no longer worth the wait. The wait times have become unreasonable. If they tell you 30 minutes, it'll easily be 45 or longer, 40 minutes is an hour or more.Unfortunately its time to go elsewhere.

We've been coming for years and continued when ownership changed several years ago. The food is average, but the wait time has become ridiculous. We ordered a month ago and waited about 25 minutes longer (55 minutes in total) then the 30 minutes we were told when we placed our order. Tonight were were told 40 minutes and after arriving to pickup, waited an additional 45 minutes (order was 3 dishes). There were 4 other customers who were waiting much longer for their food also. We won't be returning, instead choosing support businesses that respect customers time.

Best chinese good we've had in years!!! Will definitely be ordering from them again!!

ordered food for Christmas eve at 12:15 for a pick up at 5:00. arrived at 5:00 to find 19 people waiting outside, was told to go in and let them know I was here for my pick up. waited outside in the cold until 7:25!!! for a very small order(2 combo plates and chicken balls). even if they started making it when I got there it shouldn't take that long. When I went in to check on the status of my order he was taking more orders on the phone and saying they would be ready in an hour! He opened up the window and said "lets refrain form cancelling orders please" then charge full price without an apology for the delay. 3 people just bailed and left, and honestly I should have as well...I mean, it's Christmas eve and I want to spend it with my family. the food was good I have to admit... but really!

We've never tried Jade before, so placed an order for 4 set for pickup 3/4 of an hour later at 530.  By 6pm it wasn't ready.  When we finally ate:- the beef was spongey- all veg was mushy and overcooked- there were 5 (I counted) almonds in our Guy Ding- the fried rice had rice, a bit of chicken, and no sign of egg or veg and was not flavourful- the overall flavour of dishes was mediocre- everything was super super oilyThis meal cost 80 bucks.  I don't mind spending money for tasty food but this was not it.  We won't be trying them again.
