Moved to Kingston last summer, live right around the corner from Go Italian and finally got around to eating at Go Italian. Walked in, sat at the bar, had a great cocktail, great meal, staff was lovely and everything was well priced!Excited to go back!
The food and the service were first rate. It was great to see a capacity crowd even if it meant a minor wait for our food.
very good, ordered a take and bake lasagna, for a family dinner. Everyone was very impressed (it almost compared to my moms homemade lasagna, which nobody can beat), as the pasta was fresh, and the cheese was extraordinary! Overall 10/10! Would love to try their pizza next visit as the cheese is sooo good!
After being told that the food here was good, we decided to try it out. I tried to call to place an order for take-out, well that didn't work. Only a machine... When I arrived at the restaurant, I asked to purchase an 11" Pizza. The response [with attitude] Have you got an hour?. Sorry if I am confused but should a take-out place not have a phone system? When I mentioned that I had tried to call, the response was " we don't have time to answer the phone". again with attitude. If I had wanted attitude I would have accosted some teenager on the street. I have worked more than 50 years in food service and this has to be near the top of my bad experiences. The food I finally purchased from another employee without attitude was good, did I mention that after giving me the attitude the first employee just walked away.
My favourite restaurant and lucky it's so close to home. Food is always on pointe and the staff are pretty great too! Spinach artichoke dip is the best I've ever had and the cranberry bacon dip is amazingggg.
I am so happy to have found this little gem. The dolce vita is amazing - all the warm, roasted vegetables on your greens, goat cheese and a wonderful balsamic dressing. Yum. Then for dessert, I love the Sticky Toffee Cake.
Great food and great staff! We ordered the stewed beef ravioli, chicken parmesan, and pear and gorgonzola pizza. Even though there was 3 of us we were stuffed by the end of the meal! Would go back again if I am ever in the area
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food. Liked that they offer a couple of Italian beers as well!
