Korean fried chicken is really great! The weight is also very sufficient! Honey butter tastes delicious, but it's a little greasy when you eat too much. Sweet and spicy flavor is a little spicy for me, after eating will always drink water. Great overall!! I will come back later!
I've only tried take out so I can't speak to the restaurant itself. The food however is amazing and in generous portions. We tried the rice cakes and the fried chicken and both were delicious.
Gangnam Style implies a posh & whimsical Korean lifestyle & dance, none of which you will find here! Instead it’s a down-to-earth food experience at this Kingston restaurant. This starts from the basic decor to the Korean lady traditionally running the kitchen.Menu prices were very reasonable, catering to the student demographic. Gam Ja Tang (pork bone soup) was a pleasant surprise, with large pieces of pork neck bone and fall-off-the-bone meat in the mildly spicy fresh kimchi broth. But the potato could’ve used more time to soak up the bold soup flavours. The colourful Bibimbap was served with a nice runny egg but the chopped vegetables caused stirred rice to be watery. That was atoned by a popping platter of Korean Seasoned Fried Chicken in sweet & spicy gochujang sauce. The boneless half portion was huge. Pieces were crunchy & saucy in one bite! This restaurant is a short drive up Princess St from downtown with city parking nearby. Both patio & indoor dining options were available. Service was smooth & easygoing. Glad to enjoy this spot for an authentic Korean meal among the few Asian food options in town.
i love coming here! the service is always fantastic even when it's really busy, and the food is wonderful & the portions are generous :)
First time visiting Kingston and had dinner at GangNam Style - everything was so fresh and delicious! The bulgogi beef was some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. Next time I’m in town, I will definitely be back :)
Tried GangNam Style for the first time today and everything was very tasty. Beef bulgogi is probably my favourite Korean dish and theirs did not disappoint! Food was fast and fresh, portions are a great value, and service was very friendly. Will certainly be back :)
Disappointing. Ordered takeout and had somewhat high expectations; the bulgogi had little to no flavour, the spicy squid was good in flavour but had a fishier taste than we are used to with squid. Also had dumplings to start and they had zero taste.
Stopped halfway through a winter bike ride in need of something war. The spicy soon tofu soup was incredible. Very good service as well.
Food was good and authentic but service was a bit slow. Enjoyed the cheese grilled tteokbokki though.
This is probably the best Korean restaurant in town. Delicious food and great hospitality! We love seeing Emily every time. She’s such an excellent server!
