Waitress was very attentive to our needsFood was fantastic
Had a great takeout dinner at the East Side Mario's on Gardiners Rd. I ordered online it was simple and easy, the staff had just opened about 20 minutes before but the food was ready when we got there and everyone was very friendly. Will be back for sure.
Went here for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner with him and his family, the waitress was nice but the service was horrible. It took forever to be served, the pizza tasted like it was microwaved, the create your own pasta had no sauce on it when it was asked for, and when we had asked them to put the ice cream cake we had brought for the birthday in the freezer, we had got it back almost melted! When we returned the no-sauce pasta, it took almost an hour to get it back as well!! Never going back to this location. The way things are run it was horrible.
Our family of four was sat at a table in the main dining area. We have two young children which sometimes makes it difficult to sit long so we picked East Sides for a quick dinner. The hostess sat us and after 20 MINUTES we decided to leave because no one came to talk to us, no one took our drink orders, no one even said “ill be your waiter/waitress”. Super frustrating and will not be returning.
The service and server were friendly and attentive. The calamari was good however seemed different from previous meals there. Had the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken topping however the amount of chicken was miniscule. They did generously comp the meal when told how disappointing it the birthday boy was given a dessert.
I had to check the map to see if this is the same Mario I went to, judging by some negative comments. The staff was accommodating, the food was ok, good enough for this kind of pub / dinner establishment. Prices average to good. Now we've stopped going to East side Mario long time ago because of really bad service and staff rushing us to finish up and go, this was not the case here.
Rude manager; my kids were standing just beside me down the booth, I am suddenly attacked by a “manager?” He literally told me if your kids didn’t have their mask on I will ask you to leave the store! I was so embarrassed and felt harassed and unsafe! I sent a complaint! It’s been a few weeks now and no one even bothered calling me! Will never go there again! He could’ve simply told me “I can offer you some masks” or do you need help? Instead of attacking me!
This East Side Mario's location has by far, the best, most friendly staff we have ever encountered. We love East Side's, especially the all you can eat salads and bread sticks, in addition to delicious entrees. This location has the best people working there. Thank you for always making every visit a great one!
My daughter and I went to this location for dinner it was our first time here but have been to many east side Mario's over the years. She had her usual cheese cappelletti and I had the Canadian pizza with an appetizer of mozzarella sticks, the overall experience was that the staff were totally on point and the timing of delivery was great however the quality of all the food was that it tasted like poor quality store bought food! Again to reiterate the staff and timing was as good as is gets. The quality of the food was sub-par and when you pay for a nice meal with your child it has to be a well rounded experience! We work too hard in this life to waste our money on franchises that serve premade prepackaged frozen foods no matter how good the service is, it has to be well rounded! All the best John.
Definitely not worth $75 order for takeout. Cauliflower pizza and pasta dinner for 2. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Food was cold, portions were small, barely any sauce on pasta. Look like vomit really. The pizza taste burnt. We had accidentally order the food for 6:45 online. I called right after to change the time, but I feel like the food was probably made at the original time and left to sit. Tried calling the restaurant to let them know, but no one answers the phone. Needless to say, will probably never go back there.
