Very good! Summer time it's the chip wagon and outdoor patio but quality is excellent! Inside the restaurant, there is the beer/wine bottle shop. Overall, it's excellent!

First time at the food truck. Very disappointed. Pear and Brie sandwich turned out to be paper thin slices of pear with an overwhelming sauce. The small bun was burnt. Carmelized onion was all you could taste. Tiny can of Perrier and this totalled $17.00. Not worth the money. Threw the “sandwich” out.

This place is amazing with food and service. The steak is well seasoned and the flavor is stunning. The dessert is a killer! Overall really tasty, highly recommended.

My husband and I decided to go to this restaurant for our Anniversary as we have been unable to go in a couple of years. It was worth the wait. The atmosphere was nice but casual, the food was delicious and the drinks refreshing. My husband had the tuna as an appetizer and he said he could have eaten a couple more as it was one of the most delicious plates he had ever had. I had the mesclun salad which even though it was piled as high as a mountain, it was not too much prior to our entrees. My husband had the duck confit on a bean cassoulet which was a nice change to the usual duck a l’orange most restaurants have. I had the sweet potato gnocchi in a lovely cream sauce along with broccolini and cauliflower. Both entrees were fantastic! Instead of having a usual sweet dessert, we decided to share one of the cheese boards; a nice little tidbit of crostini, chutney, cheese and pickled onion. The Chateau de Bourgogne cheese was absolutely out of this world. We finished our meal with Cafe au Laits. Nothing was disappointing. From June to September, the restaurant will close temporary to have heir food truck in the parking lot where the restaurant is located. Something else to look forward to.

We had driven past this restaurant many times (it is located in a small strip mall) and wondered if it was a great as the reviews - in a word - YES!Don't let the location throw you. Once inside the cozy dining room we were greeted by a very pleasant hostess, seated at the table we had reserved (reservations are a must for any day, Fridays and Saturdays are booked weeks in advance). Our server was friendly, knew the menu & ingredients, made an excellent wine suggest (love Spanish red) and was the perfect combination of attentive while leaving us time together. The short rib appetizer was Excellent!!! We both decided on the Artic Char ~ the fish was Amazing! The entire meal was both beautiful to look at and even better tastings. We will be back for our next special evening - cheers to the team at Days of Front for a wonderful experience ?

Fantastic! I had intended to take my fiancée here for an engagement dinner over a year ago but, well COVID. I decided on here based on recommendations from friends. I got the short rib and beef tenderloin. She got the chicken thigh and lamb. We tried a bit of each other's meals and both thought it was all good. The quadruple chocolate cheesecake was so good!Service was great too! Absolutely would recommend this restaurant to anyone.I honestly do not understand the 1,2,3 * reviews those people must either be the most pretentious people ever or have broken taste buds lol.

As always...a great experience. Thank you!!.

They turn 10 years old in May and this is the best restaurant in Kingston. Best food, best service, and remarkably affordable for the 5* meals they serve.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now but have always been a little wary because the prices are pretty high and I am so tired of going to restaurants that call themselves "fine dining" and charge as if they are but, end up coming up short. (This city is loaded with those types of places). We finally bit the bullet last night and went. I have to say that after living in Kingston for 3 yrs now, we have finally found the restaurant that we have been looking for! This place checks all the boxes. Food quality is incredible, ambiance is nice, service is great, prices are still a touch on the high side but I don't mind paying for quality and that is exactly what we got here last night.Well done Day's on Front. We will definitely be back.

My only regret is not coming sooner. The food was unreal.Staff were friendly and attentive.Clean, quiet, great ambiance.Definitely a hidden gem in Kingston.
