This is the second time I have been dissapointed in an so called Indian restaurant at Kingston.No taste at all in any of the cuisine we ordered and they made us wait for atleast 1 hour even though we were the only one at the restaurant.
DarBar is consistently delicious. My wife and I like our staple dishes (Lamb Madras, Chana Masala & Butter Chicken) so much that we always order them and then try another. The left overs the next day are just as good.Try other Indian places if you must, there are many good ones in Kingston, but DarBar rules them all.Best Indian restaurant in Kingston - hands down.
I have been a regular customer for 10+ years. I have tried every curry restaurant in Kingston and this one is by far the best one! They are able to make the vindaloo hotter and can do extreme heat also. If you want spicy vindaloo come here!
Worst butter chicken ever, it's shouldn't even be called butter chicken. Maybe sugar chicken sugar, or diabetes chicken. Anything but butter chicken, taste horrible and barley has chicken.
Best Indian cuisine in Kingston. Every dish is exactly the way you hope it would be.
The food is delicious and you have options about the level of spice. Even simple things like their Naan are extraordinarily nice.
ordered takeout for lunch: the butter chicken had a nice coconut flavour and sweetness ... the darbar rice was dry
Darbar has been our household go-to for take out food for years. The quality and quantity of every dish is exceptional. Chicken Jalfrezi highly recommended (sometimes a bit hot for some?). The people at this restaurant (like all others in K-Town) work hard. I am glad they made it through so far. Support local always .
