Horrible food. Horrible response to our complaint. $57.00 spent. Threw out all three of the main dishes. Here’s the sad tale:Yesterday (April 16) ordered 2 won ton soup with noodles, and 3 main dishes (house fried rice and two chicken dishes). The three main dishes were literally stinky. They smelled rank, and the rice and noodles were mushy. The soups were fine.I had a single bite of the fried rice and a taste of the chicken and vegetables and had to spit out the food.We threw out every dish. So, today I called and spoke to two staff members. The first one politely asked me to wait and got a not-very-pleased person who asked me what was the problem with the food. I told them that the smell was bad and the food was mushy and had a terrible taste - not at all fresh, veggies and chicken sticky and mucky. That my wife is still tasting the yuk, 24 hours later. They told me that the food was fresh and nothing wrong with it. To be fair, they offered to give us half off another $57.00. They said they’ve been there forty years and never had a problem.I’ve never known a business that had a perfect record every day for forty years. We will never be back to the Chinese Palace.
Great family run restaurant with amazing food.
Great food and the service was friendly and efficient. Hope to go back really soon!
Chinese palace is the best on Kingston by far
Place order didn't talk long. Was delicious, hot great food. Staff is very friendly
Good food but little pricey
This is the only restaurant in Kingston we order Chinese food from. Amazing food every time!A+++
Nothing short of delicious. I’ve only had one time where it was not good and every other time before and after was awesome. Always will be my local choice for Chinese food.
Very bland, rice was mushy was not very good won’t be going back, kernel pow chicken was horrible soggy slop :(
Food was fantastic, fresh crunchy veggies, not overly sweet. Chicken balls were real, more meat then dough.Give it a 5 out of 5 for flavour, freshness, quality.
