Fish was moist and crispy, fries were delicious. Portions were huge and the service was amazing.
Absolutely delicious. A very awesome waitress thst you can tell loves her job. She was helpful with menu ideas as well as being funny. Will be back lots.

It was tasty fish and chips.My only critique would be, when ordering more than 2 piece of fish, separate them with some kind of paper to absorb the moisture and oil. By the time we got home the fish batter had lost all its crisp.
I'm sorry, but my friend and I always went to this location when we really wanted fish and chips for dinner, however, the many times we have been to this location the meal we ate tonight is not the usual "we'll be back again" service. We decided to have fish and chips on our way home after visiting my sister and brother-in-law, who we have not seen in a while, it was around 6:45pm. We almost went to the Amherstview location, as they were open until 8:00pm as opposed to this location, which closes at 7pm ,but, had decided there was enough time to get to the Gardiner's Road location. It was now 7:50pm. My friend asked if we should dine in there, however, we opted to take-out. When my friend went in to order, the young lady immediately asked "what would you like to order to TAKE-OUT?". My friend and I ALWAYS prefer the HALIBUT, FRIES W/SALAD. You usually have a bit of a wait when YOU THINK you are getting a quality meal. She seemed to come out within what felt like mere seconds, while looking at her watch, as if to say " could you , maybe, be a lot earlier, next time". I am now upset we choose this location AT ALL. That's not all of it !!! When got home, in the meal was HADDOCK, FRIES W/ SALAD. WELL, to make a long story, kinda short, to say the least, it wasn't the meal we ordered, the fries were horrible and the salad was at least fresh. TO SAY I WAS DISSATISFIED, is an understatement!!! I think we just might try the AMHERSTVIEW location from now on.If you are closed at 7pm shouldn't you close at 7pm! If you want customers to come in earlier you should post that with your hours. When I worked in the food industry, you stayed until that last customer leaves whether it's mere minutes before closing!! This meal WAS NOT worth the almost $60.00 paid,,PLUS tip on top So whoever this young lady was working on Saturday , May 14th, should maybe understand that!!!
My parents and I order from here a lot over the years and have been satisfied with them. But today they disappointed us. Both my mom and I ask for the shrimp and got uncooked batter shrimp. I asked for a caeser got a Greek. My mom called them and the lady on the phone yelled at her. Wasn't offer anything for us getting a disappointed meal. Will not be going back to them ever.
The food was horrible. The fish and chips were greasy and the chips were cold. My husband got the burger which tasted horrible and a $10 salad that was worth $2. The service was great.
Wife and I stopped in here while visiting our daughter at Queen's. When we arrived to eat inside it was pretty smoky from the friers. We ended up choosing the Commander platter to share (2x fish, 3x scallops, 3x shrimp, 5x onion ring, fries, salad). It was just the right amount for us.I can say that I found it to be average for fish & chips from being out of towners. Nothing really outstanding.
Dropped in here with my wife while visiting our girls at Uni. We ordered The Commander combo (2x fish, 3x scallops, 3x shrimp, 5x onion rings, fries, salad). This was just right for two of us to share. Décor is a bit kitsch with various sea / fishing items. Food was good. We ate inside and it was a bit smoky at times from the cooking.
