I’m surprised about all these great reviews. We threw away all the fries, since they were horrendous. How can someone mess up fries this bad!?!The smoked meat is decent and might be the only good item on the menu.We picked the drive through option and They didn’t offer any condiments, another unfortunate thing there.Half the food went to trash, and we really hate wasting food.
Good food et excellent customer service! Even in the lunch hour rush, Vasilio managed to give us a very good service. One of the only person in Ontario who could speak to us in french! Go there and eat a great meal!
Every time I’ve been it has been perfect - does not disappoint. Also a great value. Burgers, smoked meat, gyros, or hot dogs, if this is what you are looking for this is the place for you.
I went here b/c it was recommended. Dropped by as I passed through Kingston. A family business, met the owner and his son and enjoyed a chat with them. Wonderful, warm, generous people. Try their Montreal smoked meat sandwiches, and the baklava. I will def make the effort to pass by again and support them with some love. They deserve it. Enjoy!
Customer service at drive through was terrible when the boss wasn't there and u couldn't take more than one bite bcuz it seemed like one of them did something to my hot dogs. Also everytime I go there for last 3 yrs and ask for onions (always saying I'll pay extra) I get rude behavior like I'm asking for a freebee...the owner gets upset when you ask for raw onions on your hotdog...onions are a hot dog topping for a lot Mr. Big bites, even if you don't agree. And when I ask for them and offer to pay before you even give me a hard time ...but you still give me one, then you are going to lose business...fake politeness is no substitute for the real kind and it makes the food taste sketchy as I wonder what your team did to it when I'm in the drivethru...also be nicer to your employees so they're not always feeling disrespected by you and become disgruntled enough to do messed up things to your customers food. Btw when I posted on FB I got some similar feedback from others that used to live a lot of your food but they've also stopped going all together and a lot of them were tllike me and went for the hotdogs at least once a week. I hope you clean it up as I will come back in a yr to see if it's the same, or that you've made good changes ...remember l, raw onions belong on hotdog for many people... especially if it the works, so just charge when you're asked and be glad for the extra money on an order and remeber onions are so cheap man and fifty cents or a dollar for half an ounce of chopped red onion is a great deal for you.
Taste of home. Montreal style steamies. Can't go wrong there.Line staff always lively, interactive with customers and get your order done right. Done fast. Done reasonably easy on the budget.I'd probably eat here every day if I lived any closer and money was no object.
I am disappointed. I have been here twice lately to get take out. Both times they were closed, we got there at 7.15pm. There website states that their open until 8pm. The food is good although sometimes the fries are over cooked.
My family and I have lived in Kingston for over 20 years and have never tried Big Bites. It was recommended by some colleagues and acquaintances. Since we can’t dine in anywhere right now, we thought supporting a local business take out would be a good option on a cold Sunday in January.We tried the BBQ burger, philly sub and smoked meat poutine. The poutine was decent in size and the smoked meat was mediocre, but the burger was dry and the fries were absolutely dreadful. Straight into the garbage they went! Not only were they overcooked and unsalted, but their fry oil must be like old black tar! I like my fries well done, but none of us could stomach the burnt chitlins.

I ordered a cheese burger and fries asked for some toppings not to be put on but was put on even though receipt says not to. Called went straight to voice mail and no one called back. Was very sick and had to take a day off from work. Still no call back. Maybe there should be a manager on duty to ensure quality
