Surprisingly pleasant experience! I ended up coming here at 3am in the morning travelling through Kingston. The drive thru was closed despite 24hr open sign. When I walked in and asked, the staff kindly informed that the drive thru window is broken. I thought I would find unmotivated staff at this hour slacking off, but the two gentlemen were very kind, pleasant to talk to, and served extremely quickly. Thanks for the pleasant experience!
Go for the breakfast sometimes the breakfast is pretty close too as you would at home. Bacon, sausage, over easy eggs, toast, tomato slices, hash brown and a coffee for a reasonable price.
Mid day, very quiet atmosphere. Counter clerks very polite. Food was good and hot. I had the chicken burger. Done to perfection.
We were staying in hotel nearby without a car. Tried to get some food, but only drive through was working. We tried to order thorough it, but workers refused to accept it, because we weren't driving. Worst, they looked at us and ignored our presence
The last year or so the staff have been really good at this location and I'd give them a better rating to reflect that, but I don't like coming home with take out that's missing a bunch of items
Everything's good, I actually really like the low inflow of customers, as it makes for a really enjoyable dine in experience. Fries are mid tho
Fantastic burger, hot, fresh and extremely good tasting. The overnight staff (the young man specifically) was absolutely amazing. We used a coupon for a two for one deal and everything was fantastic.
Ok, I always like to gove a place a chance to redeem themselves, but, this is the third strike for A&W @ 1129 Princess st. I have had to wait for food, I have canceled orders because I was told I would have to wait, again, until my food was cooked. Today....no BBQ sauce. Drove away again. Third strike, your out [email protected] in Kingston. Tommy's downtown it is.
Both my husband and I had severe food poisoning. I'm better today but he is still suffering from the effects. I had the Chicken BLT in a lettuce wrap, onion rings and water. He had a Grandpa Burger (which wasn't as they added some weird sauce to it) in a lettuce wrap and a cold poutine. We believe it was from the lettuce not being washed properly.
