You know it’s good because it’s the only cafe in Kanata open late. I loved the sakura blossom & cat theme inside. They play anime music in the background as well :)They have both plain flavours and unique options - we tried the Osmanthus flower oat latte and the rose latte.They have free wifi and a very calming atmosphere. It’s a refreshing change from being at home all the time.I wouldn’t have guessed any of this from the name “Z3” but we’re glad to have discovered this adorable cafe and will be sure to go again.
Z3 has amazing friendly and super knowledgeable staff. Their coffee passion and selection are well worth the short drive from downtown Ottawa. Even has a cute little boutique of Pokémon and other things for collectors.
This place is top notch. The owner clearly has a love and appreciation for coffee and it shines through in so many aspects. He was kind enough to walk me through both the coffee menu they have (which is quite extensive) and also gave me some information on how best to taste and experience the coffee.On top of the absolutely delicious coffee and kind and knowledgeable owner, the place itself is also adorable inside. Not my thing, but definitely instagramable.They were a bit likited on food options currently because of Covid I think, but we ordered some Japanese cheesecake which was delicious.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for a moment to anyone. If you're close by or just visiting town like we were, this is a place you do not want to miss!
I have been to this place many times. It is a cute cafe with delicious coffee and food.My last visit was not good though!I asked for a little whipped cream but the owner added regular cream which spoiled the original coffee taste and also the cheesecake did not taste good, it was hard.
Great hangout spot after work. The food and drinks were amazing and the staff were very friendly.

Really nice café for a quick lunch or afternoon coffee, many unique and delicious items at affordable prices. Good atmosphere and the owners are extremely kind and professional, you won't find another place in Kanata quite like it.Would definitely recommend the chicken sandwich!
This is such a cute place. Got their dirty coffee and the pineapple soda coffee. Both were super yummy.
Best coffee place I’ve ever been to in my entire life- great service, hospitality, and amazing yakults. Anyone who says otherwise is simply a dining casual who knows nothing about food. I’m happy to see so many 5 stars for this amazing place but I noticed a one star review left here by a man named Aaron Gloster long ago- upon further review it seems that “Aaron” leaves low ratings on Asian restaurants regularly. Could be a racist? Not sure. But his one star review is invalid and doesn’t count. This place deserves not 5, but SIX stars.
If you enjoy terrific coffee, good service, and a really nice atmosphere, this place is fantastic. It's in a sort of out-of-the-way place that still manages to be accessible to both bus routes and has a good amount of parking. I live in the neighbourhood and have been in a few times, and have been consistently impressed by the quality of the coffee and service -- there is clearly a great amount of knowledge and skill that goes into the cup. The options for drinks are diverse enough to let you try something new, but small enough to stay accessible, and every time I have asked for advice or suggestions, I have been delighted by the result.
