Food was good. Portion was nice.Took 3 times to get the bills right for 8 people and still was not right!Not impressed!!

Horrible service. I used to love Swiss chalet. Went there to go for lunch with my elderly father at around noon today. Waited 10 minutes in the front to be seated and had to actually go and find someone to seat us. After the waitress hummed and hawed we finally got seated. We then waited another 15 minutes. Not one peep from anyone,no offers to take our order or get drinks. So we decided to leave after 25 min of no service. As we got up to leave the decided to approach the table when we walked out. There was maybe on or 2 other tables in the restaurant. They definitely were not busy. Very disappointed

Food was fresh and yummy!!! Tables are sticky they need to do something about them. Other than that great customer service.

Seriously great servers. Went there for mothers day, and decided to sit outside. Sat on the patio before they closed their doors after being swamped-- we had a fantastic server. I wish I remembered his name, but he was super personable. Told us chicken would take an hr, but got us our food super fast. Though I've always found swiss chalets food mediocre, the servers are what make the experience here great.

Normally we find this place to be much better. However, yesterday, we stopped by for lunch, and our server didn't seem particularly interested in working, even though we were alone in their section. It took longer than I expect for them to show up - a table in another section came in 5 minutes after we did, and THEIR server was there right away.Finally we were able to order, and the meals came within a reasonable amount of time. My wife's Chalet Poutine meal was excellent, but my quarter chicken was so dry I couldn't choke it down - unusual, but not a deal breaker. Except that I was half done eating my fries, one at a time, before we intercepted the other server to point it out. THEY got another quarter chicken ordered, and our server brought it out. IT was up to the usual SC standard.Again, normally this restaurant is terrific from service to food . THIS visit was less than spectacular. Assuming my next visit goes better, I'll change the rating

They constantly prepared my order wrong and things were missing. Tried another location yesterday, but they missed again. Once called customer service and it was someone from overseas with bad English that could not understand, what I want from him. Ended up placing order on the website.Service just got very bad, like no one cares. Before pandemic their were older people working, so they took some responsibility of the job, and now I saw Yonge people standing around doing nothing.They need to train people and bring back call Centers.And always check at the counter, when picking up order.

Had Rotisserie chicken sandwich. Basically a hot chicken sandwich. Chicken was tender and flavorful, Gravy was rich, vegetables were cooked perfectly. Will definitely order again.

Great food but picked up my order, missing a meal, called, manager said he would send one out to me eith a complementary salad within 20-25 minutes. It's been over 30 mins and still waiting. HAVE THEM UNPACK YOUR ORDER TO CHECK. i know i will from now on. The time stamp on my receipt is 90 minutes ago. Im hungry.....

I had a heck of a time fulfilling an order with Swiss Chalet tonight. First I called to place my order and the call centre picked up. I had two questions, first was if the cheese curds are made with pasteurized milk and if the Cesar salad dressing is made with raw egg. I’m pregnant and need this information to make my order. The call centre was not able to answer either question. This was surprising because egg is a major allergen and they should what menu items contain allergens when asked. Most places have an allergen guide.Aside from the issue above, I arrived at the restaurant and I waited at the driver through speaker for a while. No one answered it so I drove ahead. No one came to the window, they were talking together and one of them was eating. I honked several times and someone finally came. I found out my order wasn’t placed properly by the call centre so I had to reorder and wait.Food ended up being good as usual, but the experience was hell.

Went about a week ago to get some take-out, they got my order wrong and miss a whole chicken meal, I got a credit, but I do not really want to go back, because, the drive-tru was very slow, BBQ sauce tasted as if they burned it, chicken tender were really small for the price, and 1/4 pound breast chicken was dry. Staff were friendly, but through the window in drive-through a few of them were just waiting not doing anything... so wonder if it's a team problem.
