This was my first time at Moxieâs. The overall look of the restaurant was not what I expected; it looked amazing! I had the chicken Alfredo pasta and it did not meet my expectations. The pasta was cooked but the sauce was not to my liking. The nachos and calamari were delicious and I would go back just for those two items.
First date was a success! Thanks Moxies Kanata for making it an amazing night!

Super yummy, we ordered 3 things and split it between the two of us. drinks were also wonderful.
Our service was pretty bad. Our server only went to see us a couple of times. Once for water once for wine and once for food. Our bottle of white wine was left on the table without a bucket to chill. And she never came by to check on us to see how we were doing or offer to refill our glasses. This was a Tuesday night and the restaurant wasnât overly busy.
The initial seating area was not nice, right behind the reception counter. We insisted to change and the young lady was went to ask and we were offered a different seat. The food was good, we find it salty for our taste. Maybe put a little bit and let the client add if needed. The server was nice and very accommodating.

Waiter was great, patient on our orders for business chat and very septic food orders. Steak was overdone on one meal but they told us before if even got there for us to see and immediately told us a second steak was coming so she got an extra steak for free, amazing!
Food was very good ~ the prawns and shrimps were tasty and done just right, with an interesting sauce on the pasta. Excellent salmon, moist and not overdone (a common fault). Service was friendly and prompt.
Perfect evening on the patio. Good food, good service, pleasant evening all around.
