I have had the smoked meat sandwich and the smoked meat poutine. I would say best in town! The fries are cooked perfectly and the gravy is unbelievable.The staff are super friendly and make new customers feel like a regular.The seating area is very clean as well.
The smoked meat poutine was hands down one of the best poutines I’ve ever had. The sandwich was so amazing too. The smoked meat is super tender, juicy, and delicious. The staff was so sweet, greeted us, checked up on us just like at a sit down restaurant. Service was quick too, and portions were generous. DEFINITELY give it a try, soo worth it!!
Always great. A pound and a half of smoked meat, a loaf of rye breat and a jar of Putter's dill pickels. Two meals at home. The best smoked meat I have found in Ontario. Staff is always polite, kind and considerate.

The fries are amazing - just the right amount of salt and crunch. You can get plenty of smoked meat (4oz and 8oz) which is great tasting.But the food is overpriced for what you get in terms of the ingredients and cooking/meal prep complexity. I'd recommend trying this place out during the lunch time special to hit that sweet spot price point!
Totally agree with the other reviews about the fries. If you go there, seriously consider trying their smoked meat poutine. The regular size is already quite generous for 2 people. Staff was super friendly. They patiently explained their menu to us, answered our questions, and made accommodations for our requests. Seating was clean and comfortable. They seem to make everything in house. Admirably, they even have salad on their menu.
The smoked meat is fantastic but the fries!!! OMG. Better than any chip truck anywhere!!!
Excellent in every way. Portions are huge, fries and sandwich so tasty. Best smoked meat in Ottawa. On top of that, the staff is so nice. I plan many more visits.
