Probably worst kettlemans store in Ottawa. I have been to all other stores, none of them is as bad as this one. Staff are friendly, but the bagel size is pretty funny, they have huge one and tiny one. That’s not a big deal, but all of their cream cheese are in pretty bad shape, the one I just bought already went bad and had some molds on it and the expire date is 3 weeks after. And then I went back to see the rest of the cream cheese in their cooler, most of them the plastic package already pops up and they still sell them. Don’t know what to say. Kettlemans in town, Bank > Trainyard > College Square > Kanata. Disappointed
My first time and I wasn't too impressed. Slow unfriendly service. The staff certainly don't appear to enjoy their jobs. Long faces and unfriendly. Probably will not return.
Absolutely best bagels. Highly recommend them.
Decent breakfast sandwich but over $10… and $2.99 for coffee… could see the prices if a full service restaurant but not for takeout. But the part that got me was when I asked if there was butter on the breakfast sandwich and the answer was no - would you like to add it? Extra $.50… never have I seen that before.

The good things about Kettlemans are that they have many options on the menu and the bagels are tasty. Kettlemans is a fast food franchise but the decor doesn’t make it feel like a fast food place. However, as much as the bagels are tasty I feel that the menu items are very overpriced.I got the vegetarian bagel sandwich and a salad for lunch and it cost me 15$ which is Is insane!
Stopped in while on the job with a co-worker for lunch. I ordered my sandwich and chose my bagel but was suggested the bagel that was coming out of the oven by the person at the counter. What a tremendous suggestion. That wonderful wood fired oven flavor stayed with me for quite some time after the meal. All in all I am impressed and quite satisfied.
New shop, clean amenities, fresh and tasty bagels. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the mandatory tip option on the payment machine on a place were you pay before you eat, they don't wait the tables and you take your own trash. Nevertheless go try it I will for sure return to try different choices.
This place was amazing when first opened but now they can't get an order right. Don't make any customizations on your order, they don't care. Oh and they also put an absurd amount of pepper on their western, it's not edible. Pic attached.
