Was there as part of a hydro crew dispatched to Ottawa. Food was top shelf. Service and atmosphere were great. All the boys had an awesome night before heading back home. Would definitely go again.
What a gem of a place! Great atmosphere, and very tasty food. Had the beef tacos and they were superb! Wish I was here on a live music night as the place feels like it would be a blast. Highly recommended!
Good food, nice atmosphere. But we made the mistake of going on the night of a nearby hockey game, and it was full to the max and the noise was unbearable. But when the crowd was gone it was pleasant at normal levels. We ate Chicken Nachos and a Steak, food was good. Servers were patient despite the crowd.
For somewhere with such a country-bar vibe, they have suprisingly good food. Skillet Mac and Cheese was to die for. Also, every mason jar cocktail I tried was good, if a bit sweet. Atmosphere was pretty chaotic, but that's expected of a bar. The live music was nice too
It's ok. Steaks get cooked properly which is good. Prices are similar to high end restaurants with real Chefs but taste is similar to Jack Astors chain next door. Plates are large so if you're a big eater you may find value. Atmosphere is nice and clean.
Had nachos and spinach dip. Loved the nachos, cheese on almost every chip as it was layered with all the toppings. Dip was not my favourite as I don't care for feta, but husband loved it. Fast service, helpful, pleasant staff.
I have to say its was a amazing evening. Great staff,great service and great atmosphere as well. Good portion of food and perfect mediume rare stake on my plate. My only issue was the prices but overall i had a amzing time.

Clean and friendly, food was delicious and the prices were fair. Only thing missing to make it 5 star is the pre-covid party and music atmosphere. It'll be back and this place will be 5 stars hands down.
We were in Ottawa for a hockey game and wanted to try a different restaurant than the Jack Astor's, Milestone's, East Side Marios type of cookie cutter places and happened to come across this interesting place in Kanata, not too far away from the Hockey Arena. I was able to make reservations a couple of days before the game and I'm really glad I did because it got packed very fast. Our reservations were for 4pm and the game was at 7pm. Lots of parking and we were shown to a nice deep booth. Our server, Jasmine, was absolutely great and made all kinds of recommendations for us. She was also very attentive and made sure we had refills even before we asked for them. Our friends had brought along their 9-month child and she brought a booster seat and a highchair too. We ordered the Texas Sharing Platter ($30) that came with smoked wings, fried pickles, Onion petals, Fried BBQ Ribs, Jalapeño Poppers and 3 different dipping sauces. We also had the Three Cheese Spinach Dip ($16), which came with a big basket of corn chips and baked focaccia and was super tasty! Our friends ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich ($16) and the Beef Tacos ($15) and they said they were very tasty. My wife had the Fish Tacos ($15) and couldn't even finish 2 of them - they were so packed. I had the Crazy Horse Poutine ($17), which came loaded with chicken tenders, crispy banana peppers, green onions and a really nice Chipotle Aoili - I loved it!! I just had Pepsi and my wife had a 9oz glass of wine ($13). As the night progressed, the restaurant and bar area got more and more packed and the atmosphere was really good. We liked the music and the washrooms were really Bice and clean Special thanks to our server, Jasmine, who made our entire evening very enjoyable!
