We recently held a retirement celebration for our boss at Ye Olde Squire on Fennell.We used the private room which comfortably accommodated our group of 80+. Trent was great helping plan the event, he was very flexible, offering us lots of options and sourcing items that aren’t typically on the menu. He was available for communication and greeted us warmly on arrival.Our servers, Cass and Patti, were attentive throughout the evening, properly balancing great service without being in the way. The food, (we had slider burgers, pizzas, nachos and beverages) were fresh and delicious! We even had lots of food to take home!Thank you for making this event fun and stress free!
I recently attended a banquet for ACI which was held at Ye Olde Squire on Fennel Ave. I was not aware that they had a separate facility to host such an event. There were a hundred plus people there - the space was perfect. The meal that was provided by Squires was delicious; the timing of the meal, the quality and the service far exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The service provided by the staff was second to none.I highly recommend anyone planning an event to consider this location. You will not be disappointed.
We went this past Saturday to a private party , the party boy hired Freedom Train. BRILLANT.. If you haven't seen this band live your missing a great performance. Our waitresses were awesome we never had a empty glass. Unfortunately l didn't take any pics we were to busy having fun.. 4 years ago l had my boyfriends private party there, the space is perfect and private.
Thank you Trent, Maria, Miah and staff for making our experience today so amazing! Food, service and drinks were so delicious, and served quickly considering the size of our party. My family and I are very pleased and will definitely be returning. If anyone is looking to host any sort of gathering I highly recommend the Fennell location! The private rooms are very nice and made my family gathering today very enjoyable, especially with 7 kids under the age of 7 ? Thank you Liz
We have a monthly Alumni lunch for 30-40 people, when Covid protocols permit. Its always GREAT service & food. The manager Trent sets us up in the side room with our own server. My thanks to Trent & his staff for making our lunches so enjoyable.
My first time at this location but I still loved it. I'd give 5 stars but we were not allowed to dance or socialize except for with the people we came in and sat with or if went outside for a smoke.
I've been coming to Squires on Fennell for years. Price increases are a fact of life and the impact of a global pandemic on supply chain and related costs is understandable and expected. Not to mention increases in minimum wage. I totally get it. However, your price gouging coming off the last lockdown is ridiculous. $8.60 for a domestic pint? Over $7.00 for a basic well shot? $11.20 for a pint of Guinness? Almost $4.00 for a coffee? The 1 star is for the wonderful staff at the Fennell location - they are the best! To the owners of all the Squires locations - give your collective heads a shake! You have missed the mark on your customer's willingness to pay the prices you are currently charging. So disappointing. Certainly not the way to bring back customers as we all navigate the post-pandemic (hopefully) world.
Attended a friends wake there. Nice clean banquet room. Staff were very friendly and delivered good service. Food was good, enjoyed the variety and pizzas. Look forward to returning.
Bravo Ye Old Squire!(Fennel location)1st time ordering. We ordered X2 Yorkshire steak pies w/Rubin sandwich, veg and potatoes & gravy.This is a real review and I am critical of our degrading food and beverage service from fast food to fine dining, it’s been over run with owners that forgot about quality and return business being synonymous. Fortunately the Fennell Ye Olde Square has not lost that characteristic. My picky eating 10yr old daughter that doesn’t even like pizza(weirdo) couldn’t stop asking to repeat this dinner , “ can I pack this in my lunch for school?” Etc!Love it , will run through this menu and I sincerely pray you dominate your industry.-B
