Came for breakfast and it was a mixed thing of good and bad.First, despite being the only one there who didn't have food it took 5 minutes to get basic service because the waitress was chatting away with a co-worker.The coffee was garbage, tasted burnt and overall horrid. It didn't take long to get the food and while the food was more or less okay, the eggs were unusually small. Like half the size of a normal egg.Probably won't be coming back after this, sad to shove seen it get this low.
I've been to 2 other wimpies were fantastic this owe're fantastic this one the place wasn't kept clean there was 1 lady that actually was trying to be do her job wasn't close close yeah just the food wasn't very good either
I was disappointed in the state on the diner inside and out.Grounds did not seem to be maintained.Bathrooms are in great need of a refresh.High chairs were very dirty.Food was as to be expected for a chain restaurant. It was chosen for ease of a person with disabilities to be able to join us.
Why is this my first time here?! I love this place! Retro look and feel and the service was old school friendly. Great portions and we'll prepared
I went recently for the first to any Wimpy’s diner as I had heard positive reviews generally about the chain over the years, from friends. I went for breakfast at approx 1045am, with my 1 month old baby :). First impression, the restaurant was not very busy, there 2 waitresses who were both friendly. I ordered a cup of tea, received it and without initially noticing, the cup had lipstick on the rim!!!!! I drank a sip then noticed it, very disgusted I notified my waitress who seemed shocked and gave me a new cup and apologized. My breakfast came, it wasn’t impressive 2 waffles, 2 eggs, and 2 slices of bacon - including my tea my bill came to $18! I was quite surprised but paid anyway. After the lipstick incident there was no offer of some sort of compensation or discount.I will not be returning again! I actually don’t think I will visit any other wimpy’s dinner again!
Quick service made this a good experience. I like the colours of the booths and walls--blue representing tranquillity and red for appetite. The grilled cheese was loaded--dripping in fact!
Food was good and came nice and quick. Server was less than chipper from the second we walked in. There were only 2 other tables so it was not busy. We were polite from the start but she acted like we said or did something to anger her. Thinking it was just a bad day like we all have, we brushed it off. But she would walk to her table of regulars and hang out laughing and having a good time. Very confusing.
This place is gone downhill. This is at 6:35 pm on a Thursday night. No one is there, place is closed. The place inside is dated and the food is not as good. They need to rebrand. No one goes to Wimpys as it shows. The burgers are frozen and preformed weirdly. Good breakfast though.
Normally really Good food but both times this month I’ve ordered there’s been a lot of hair in all the food
One of my families favourite places. That being said this visit was okay. I felt like I was getting military grade food as the eggs were dry and looked like someone broke the eggs and flicked a spatula through it and called it scrambled the meat was overcooked but edible. The potatoes rounds were great though and my husband loved his pancakes.
