Ordered takeout yesterday and was incredibly disappointed. Got the eggplant parmigiana with alfredo sauce and my boyfriend got the shrimp and scallop pasta. Both of the sauces just tasted like plain cream. We both had to put salt and pepper on it ourselves. We’ve been to Valentino’s before and our food had never tasted this bland. I also got a soup which I thought was $3 but turns out it was $8 for a tiny cup of soup that was only 3/4 full as shown in the picture. For a $30 meal you would think you’d get better quality food. Will not order from here again.
We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and I can’t say enough good things about the food and service! We tried the 2 panzerotti take-out special - both were delicious, cooked to perfection, and incredibly fresh. We had an error with one of the orders and the owner/manager (?) went above and beyond to make it right. The napoleon was also DELICIOUS. We will be back!
Honestly very dissatisfied, my wife’s favourite restaurant at one time. Order a shrimp appetizer, sauce was good, shrimp were very fishy. Ordered a veal parmesan and a chicken parmesan entree, both were to be accompanied with a soup or salad. Ordered one of each, neither came out ever. When we complained they adjusted our bill, $3 off each meal which is laughable, the soup was $7 on the menu and the salad more. Veal was cooked at least three times as long as it should have been, toughest veal i’ve ever had. The chicken parmesan was okay, but my wife ordered it with linguine and Alfredo, the Alfredo tastes like a glass of milk with garlic in it. So disappointed, and to boot the service was lacklustre at best, weren’t even offered a refill on our water, and had to ask for a refill on our drinks. Seemed like the manager and his family sitting beside us seemed to have great service and good food, very unprofessional. They only real highlight was the host Emma who was friendly and kind.
Great place for pasta, wine is good as well. Staff here are so nice! Yesterday was Valentino day and my wife and me really enjoyed the dinner here. We ordered mussel for appetizer, it’s pretty good! We ordered LINGUINE FRUTTI DI MARE and VEAL PASTA as the mean dishes, it’s pretty good, too. We love this place!
A nice surprisingly good Stracciatella soup! The rest of the dishes are nice! The Latte has a frothy milk top and Napoleon provided a fulfilling ending of the lunch!
Before COVID Valentino's was THE place to go for awesome food at a good value. I've ALWAYS recommended them to everyone. Unfortunately this no longer is the case - the food quality has deteriorated. We have been eating there less regularly, forgiving in the past when food quality was less while blaming higher staffing turn-arounds (you would still get the odd good meal). But, for the past three times in a row the food has been burned on the bottom (panzerotti / pizzas) - and we have ordered on different days across a few weeks - so I'm not sure we can blame just one particular shift / crew. So now we order Domino's pizza, as we've never had an issue with them - even during COVID - and we'll just find a new place for panzerotti's.
It used to be awesome and very well made pizza when they were in the old location on Barton Byrne bell manor loop. That was when they were proud of their product
One of the best restaurant I've been to. Very delicious food, and super friendly staff. We tried the spicy pizza and Alfredo chicken pasta with some garlic breads.
Nice atmosphere and great food. I tried their pizza & pasta and both were delicious. Would definitely return to try more.
My family and I have been going here a long time. Always a pleasant place for great Italian eats. Their GF pasta is very good, portions are big and you cannot leave there without being stuffed! In a good way!
