Brought my burger loving mom here and she now has a new favourite burger spot. Best onion rings ever! Very delicious. Great staff.
I have nothing but positive things to say about the Works. The food quality is top notch and the customer service is unparalleled.The burgers are super tasty. I love some of the specialty burgers. They also have some of the best onion rings that I've ever tried as well as some pretty great shakes. The Works is a solid place to go for a great burger meal that hits your burger cravings.
I order on door dash quite frequently and every time I do they seem to miss the second item. I ordered a tragically maple and a war pig and didn’t receive the war pig at all. Very disappointed. Food tastes great but unfortunately because they are so unreliable, I wont be able to order from them anymore
I only gave them three stars because when we went there the first time it wasn't busy and the food was good. We went back a second time it was busy and it was just before we flew home to British Columbia. They had to give me two complementary meals because my burger wasn't cooked properly
My husband and i were there in April. my husband got food poisioning and was very sick for 4 days. He couldn't go into work and lost $1600.00 being off. They sent me a gift card for $50.00. I find that laughable at best. We spent $70.00 on are meals plus a $15.00 tip and all you can send is $50.00 gift card? What a joke. you could have at least gave a gift card that would cover are meal. Won't be returning
Stopped in for lunch on Mother's Day. Staff was friendly, polite, helpful, and charming. Was given a great seat next to the open bay which was lovely on such a beautiful day. Our burgers were good, though I was surprised when my chicken fight club arrived with no sauce on it. That was quickly remedied. Husband had a burger with jalapenos and banana peppers on it along with freshly made chips. The sauces for the chips were great and not your usual fair and the chips were quite good.
We had a fantastic experience at the Works on Upper James. The food was flavourful, filling, and served piping hot! Our server Kaitlyn was kind, attentive and overall a great help. Would recommend for a nice date night if you are looking for a good burger and some fun toppings. The milkshakes looked great but we were so full.
First time here and it’ll be the last. After waiting 30 minutes, I expected a good burger.The burgers were not terrible, but they weren’t that amazing or special. For their price points, I expected much MUCH better.The bacon tasted bad and it wasn’t that warm either and the burgers were dry for everyone.I am not sure how this place has ratings as high as it does.Staff was nice though.
We ordered the impossibly sexy burger and the loaded Lucy, got fries and onion rings. Overall it was delish, came out super hot and pretty quickly even though the restaurant was bumping. Would gladly return
