Very cute ice-cream shop right in the heart of Ancaster. Lots of great choices. Huge portions. Limited seating but its a nice walk to nearby spots in downtown area

Couple of my friends already recommend their ice cream. Just got there 10 minutes ago and it was closed. Tried calling few times but all got to VM. Talked to their rep on their Facebook page and they told us that they opened May - Labour day.Very sad. Hopefully everyone can read this before going there. Otherwise, try their ice cream next season.
I was heading home and had a craving for ice cream. I was going to stop by a local main stream ice cream store and decided to visit and support a small business desert venue. After quickly googling the closest ice cream shop The Purple Pony was about 2 minutes away! I ordered coconut ice cream. All I can say is that I wanted to preserve it for my family to try. What a treat! This may have been the best or close to the best ice cream I have tasted! The flavour and quality of the ice cream is next to none. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely be returning with my family so they too can experience great quality ice cream! You definitely will not be disappointed! The service was great as well. A delightful treat all around!

Great little ice cream shop that's easy to miss driving by. Definitely recommend the Muskoka Mocha ice cream flavour. They don't accept cash and only take tap (no swipe or insert of cards) so come prepared.

First time here since we just moved to Ancaster! Excellent ice cream and wonderful service and set up. It felt like we were on holidays visiting this cute establishment. This will be our new go-to! Loved it!
