Great experience here today with my husband. They have creemore! Which hubs was happy about. And Ashley makes a great margarita! She was very attentive to assure I loved it and was willing to accommodate to my preferred taste (less sweet). Their wings were great! We got suicide, which our favourite. They definitely had the heat, but not enough flavour to accommodate the kick. Still great all in all! Will definitely be back!
The Pheasant is a lovely pub with hardworking and friendly staff and lots of wonderful regulars. Aoife, Rachel, Josh and Nina are 4 bartenders who have kindly served me for many years. If I ever have an issue with food or a drink they help rectify the situation immediately. The fries and gravy and nachos are two of my favourite items. There is currently a lot of construction on the street but they have made an effort to decorate the patio to make it more inviting. The staff is the heart of this pub and is why the regulars keep returning.
My absolute favourite pub to go to. I can’t Get over how exceptional the staff are. They always make me feel at home. Even when my nana passed, aoife was able to accommodate my family last minute. Rachel is always positive and remembers my order without even having to say anything. I always feel at home when at the phes.
Was in town visiting for the weekend. We just wanted to go out for a drink and have a table to sit down and enjoy our time together. After an hour of bar hopping we came across the pheasant plucker. To be honest, at first glance didn't look as pleasant as it ended up being.- good drink selection- knowledgeable and verse bartender- great place to actually hang out, drink and eat.
Josh did a great job keeping our pints topped up without asking while sitting at one of the bench tables (and on an Easter weekend).I love the atmosphere of this place and the food. Always a pleasure to be back.
A quaint pub with a great wait staff. The drink selection is excellent and the food was good (but a little pricey for its quality). The atmosphere is not very intimate or warm and would be ideal for drinks with friends with apps.
Ordered take-out online from here for the first time - 2 orders of haddock & chips, and one order of the chicken tenders. The fish and tenders were amazing! There was one item missing from the order. A friendly staff person handled this in one phone call, with efficiency, grace and generous compensation! Highly recommend this pub!
The service here is awesome! The pub food was good and was as expected. Great local pub feel and cozy well visited pub vibe.
Ordered last night for the family and was really disappointed. We ordered online through the company website for a pickup time, to be told "our email doesn't update often" when I arrived for the time slot, had to wait an additional 20 mins for food. The person serving offered a free desert for the confusion, which was nice. Got the food home Nachos were bland wings were burnt "all three pounds". We had the buffalo cauliflower bites which were excellent and the chicken flat bread which was great. The desert they gave us was chocalate cake which was hard and stale. Was completely disappointed and won't be back not worth the $100.00 we spent. Also wasn't overly busy so not sure why the quality of the food suffered.
Had a group with us over Grey Cup weekend. Used the back room. Servers were able to keep up and did a good job! Food is definitely pub food so it was scarfed down! ? great spot!
