I feel like this place is a bit of a hidden gem in Hamilton. Yes the bubble tea is delicious and the menu will have something for everyone's taste. More than that though, the food is very good. Nice late night snack spot when you just need a bite and boba. Fish balls, fried squid, and even hot pots are all fantastic. Only one dish I was kinda meh about due to the chicken being dry and overpowered with some woody spice, possibly anise or somthing of the sort. Aside from that, I have tried most things on the snack menu and the hot pots and have enjoyed them all. Not the prettiest place in the world, but as a chef and an avid foodie I can tell you that all the best places to eat usually look like a dive.

I just bought Japanese style popcorn chicken, no sauce nothing and too much oil! Was never happened like that before, just so disappointed today. I Already ordered before coming 25mins, when I came I still had to wait even the store was not busy at all.
Good place for students to grab a cheap drink and buckle-in. Came here with a group of friends for a late evening hangout and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of drinks available. There is a moderate amount of seating at the TeaHut Cafe so a small party should have no trouble finding a place to sit. The service was fully done through a QR code that you can scan. You order through an online app, but you can likely also order at the cashier if you prefer to take-out or go that route. The cafe takes your order, prepares it, and brings it to your table for you signifying a low-key, decent emphasis on service.With regards to the ambience, I would say that they definitely should redecorate as the lighting is quite moody and the aesthetic quite plain. You could probably find a brighter, more fun bubble tea place elsewhere. The drinks are extremely well-priced starting at $3.50 for a regular plus toppings or an upcharge if you upgrade to a large. The cold bubble teas are okay, nothing special, but good for the price. However, the hot tea pots are interesting and great. Our group shared one and I would definitely recommend it as it can lift your spirits; especially on a colder day.Overall, it's a good place to be quiet, have a drink and study or have a cheap pick-me-up, but I would recommend a different location if you're going for a "night-out".
A cosy cafe with lots of seatings and a very large menu. You order online through a QR code where you are seated (they have lots a bubble tea drink options, as well as other teas/drinks and snacks/desserts). A regular bubble tea is around $3.50 (another dollar to upgrade to large), however the sugar and ice level seem to be fixed. The drinks/food also takes ~25min (sometimes longer), which is indicated when you order (something to keep in mind!). When we ordered the bbt drink with tapioca, there was a mix of smaller and larger tapioca balls, which we found odd but otherwise no complaints given the price.
First time trying this place. Main dish chicken with rice is very good. (I already finish it, no pic) Authentic test of Asian food. Dessert is also surprisingly tasty. But I haven't tried their drinks. I will definitely visit this place again and order popcorn chicken since it has good review.
Teahut is the perfect place for when you want to have a delicious meal, as well as some bubble tea to go with your food. They have such a variety of drinks.. and on top of that, such good food as well! The popcorn chicken exceeded my expectations because I thought it would taste like every other popcorn chicken. It was so crispy yet juicy inside that I couldn’t stop eating them!
A warm and cozy place with awesome food. The owner and staff were very nice. I had popcorn chicken over rice and a blueberry milk tea with a scoop of ice cream. The portion was huge and the price was reasonable!
A great & affordable place to catch up with friends and enjoy some good food & yummy beverages! The staff were super welcoming and made sure to check up on our group to make sure we weren't missing anything. Definitely made us feel at home. Will come visit again soon! :)
