Not all locations are created equal. I think this is one of the best Swiss Chalets. The service is very attentive and accommodating. The wings on the rotisserie chicken aren't burnt to a crisp and the sauce is a nice consistency (not watery).

I don’t know where to start. This place is truly fantastic. From the staff to the management, and the cooks. I’ve now been here several times for lunch takeout while at work, and have yet to be disappointed. These guys seem to always go above and beyond, and wait times are very short. Will definitely be returning to this location

An hour and a half for delivery from the Upper James location to Mount Hope and still waiting! Last time I order from this location. Update, Fries were cold and over cooked. Not worth the wait! Next time pizza I guess. ?

Good service and good food at James mountain outlet.too bad they are not allowed to deliver to down town Hamilton instead of us being forced to use one of those awful multi restaurant kitchens, this one on York Street with its dismal serviceWorth the drive to MountIn location insteadEating a lot less Swiss Chalet as a result though..

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Placed what I believed to be a very simple order at the drive-thru window. 2 bowls of soup, regular order of fries. Employee at drive-thru seemed very unsure of what she was doing and no customer service skills. Waited after paying at the window for about 10 minutes. Got home and found not 2 bowls of soup but 1 cup of soup, a box of fries for 4 people to share, no receipt, no cutlery. Called the store and explained that I had a problem with my order. This bright light apologized not even asking what the issue was, expecting me to go back to the store. No offer of compensation, or even slightly concerned as to what the issue was. NEVER AGAIN!!!EDIT= To follow up. I was contact yesterday by the store manager, Louie. He was very professional, and apologetic. This was resolved quickly and my wife and I enjoyed a nice meal in store yesterday and would certainly go back. Hats off to our server yesterday Anna.

So tired of the song and dance. Order is wrong every single time and never, ever in our favour. We are tired of complaining only to get "I will talk to the girls". How about some accountability? Perhaps have some pride. Grossly inexcusable. Don't pass the buck and blame "the girls". Zero quality control in terms of order accuracy. An offer of a quarter chicken dinner when I am calling to complain that I received a quarter chicken dinner is just ridiculous When I ordered and paid for a double leg dinner! Is this a scam? .SO, I am to return to recieve an item I was annoyed to receive in the first place? Not good enough! Do better! Please get your act together, this has been going on for far too long and pre-pandemic.

where do i even begin with this "restaurant" the service is beyond horrible theres only one nice worker there that i can tell is not treated well by the other staff. The other staff gives dirty looks, constantly fights with each other and always seems to have an attitude. It is probably one of the worst instances of customer service that i have ever witnessed. Also they only have one person working to do everything, food prep, take out, dine in and drive through. that should not even be allowed as not only is is overwhelming it is not safe at all. I do not have one good thing to say about this place this is hands down one of the worst swiss chalets in Canada and one of the worst restaurants in the whole world. If I could give this place a negative star rating i would but unfortunately that is not possible. I would personally like to meet management in the parking lot outside so we can have a 1 on 1 discussion about how to run a business because the manager there clearly has no clue!!!!

It was Family Day and my wife asked "what's for dinner?" and I said I was thinking Swiss Chalet. Without hesitation and just like their commercial taught us she said "Okay!" There was no hesitancy because we are always served quality meals from this location. Only once in over a decade did we have an issue which was dealt with swiftly and accordingly by management. I wasn't made to feel as though I was being difficult either. It was actually a breath of fresh air being treated like that in this day and age. Today I ordered the Family Pack Combo w/ Back Ribs and it was ready within the 15 mins as promised. The meal was hot and fresh. The chicken was super moist and the ribs were fall off of the bone. I highly recommend this location for quality food and great service.

Update - the customer service team was fast and the store owner did call to offer and explain.I didn’t want compensation.I ordered again without saying who I was and got my meal last night and is was excellent.No wish to take money out of your pocket and appreciate the fast reaction to this.Updated to 5 stars.

Dined in for lunch with 4 kids under 10. Staff were friendly. Service was fairly quick. All enjoyed their lunch and it made the girls day when the waitress brought Smarties with the bill. Fed 6 for $60. Colouring placemats entertained 5 to 10 year olds.
