Fantastic sushi! Ordered online for a bridal shower party and everyone loved the sushi. We enjoyed a large party platter as well as a vegetarian one. Easy to order online, beautifully presented in trays with plenty of ginger and wasabi. Sushi on Fennell came highly recommended and that’s why I chose it for this special event. Now, I will be recommending it to everyone! We will also be ordering again for ourselves, so many other great offerings to try! ❤️?
Fantastic service and great prices. This restaurant has the best tasting sushi in Hamilton. Also, the freshest, by far. Online ordering is easy and user friendly. Take out only. I'll be honest.......presentation and sushi rolls are a bit sloppy....due to the demand and popularity of this place. The only knock against this restaurant is the parking. There is, maybe, three spots available. I would highly recommend Sushi on Fennell for your next meal.
Sushi on Fennel never disappoints. Food to service there is no way to give them anything other than 5 stars. If you are ordering sushi on the mountain and don't go here you're making a mistake.I was particularly impressed by the way they handled service on New Years Eve. I ordered online in advance for 6pm. They were running behind so they called and asked if it would be okay to move my pickup to 630. Of course that wasn't an issue and even though I'm sure it was one of the busiest nights of the year the food was top notch as always. If you've ordered from any of their competitors on new years eve and witnessed the chaos, 4hr waits and parking lot fights over orders - sushi on fennel is your solution.Great to see such a well run small business even through the difficult circumstances of the pandemic. 5 stars!
Sushi on Fennell makes the best sushi in Hamilton, without question. The portions are fantastic, the quality is superb, and they regularly introduce new unique flavours to the menu to keep things fresh for regulars as myself. This is and forever will be the first place I recommend in Hamilton when it comes to sushi!
The sushi was AMAZING! I dream of sushi, but my husband isn't a fan of fish and seafood, so when you had Chicken Teriyaki rolls and Spicy Crispy rolls, I immediately had to order from here! The appetizer sampler was delicious with beef gyozas, spring rolls and scallops (a bit of something for both him and me), and the BBQ Eel rolls were fantastic! My favourite was the Spicy Salmon Rolls, which just made me melt.My husband loved your sushi so much, he wanted to order from you again, but you're closed today (it's Monday, and we had you on Saturday!). We'll definitely come back and order from you again! Thank you for a fabulous dinner!
I have been WAITING to try this place for months. I have heard such great things and I was very intrigued by their menu with lots of variety. I finally got to order tonight after I saw it came up on Uber Eats. I was so excited it was in my area I ordered instantly.I have to say disappointed for a few reasons.Firstly, I ordered the 3 roll combo and unfortunately I was missing the miso soup, seaweed salad or spring roll. While I did order on Uber Eats, there was no option to select one. I thought as a user this meant one would be added (I would have been happy with any) however there was nothingNext, my order was incorrect. Not the biggest deal as I ordered a salmon avocado roll and a spicy salmon avocado roll (wanted to try the difference to know for the future) however they were both just salmon avocado rolls. This was a bit frustrating especially on your first time ordering.Lastly and most disappointingly, I bit the bullet and paid $8 for an order of salmon sashimi after reading reviews on how fresh it was. I was in disbelief when I opened the bag to see the size of the sashimi. It was paper thin slivers. All 4 pieces put together would be the equivalent of 1 full piece of salmon sashimi at any other restaurant. Had I known what I was going to receive, I would have never spent $8 on this.Overall, I probably will not order again based on my first experience. While the food tasted great, there was too many errors considering I spent $40 for 1 person
First time visiting and they were quite good. We placed an online order and their website was very nicely laid out and it was easy to order...friendly staff and it was great to receive discount for pickup cash order. The food looked fantastic and tasted fresh. The tempura were nice sized portion and i love the salmon lover's tray...great idea. I didn't really like the parking area but it has nothing to do with the restaurant. I would definitely order again.
Not bad but need to be more generous with wasabi.. come on now. Ordered two green dragons, one fennel bomb and spicy salmon and that the wasabi the gave us ???
Super fresh fish, quick service using online ordering, reasonable prices. A fun, friendly atmosphere. When I show up to pick up my order I'm greeted and engaged by several employees. Never disappointed by the quality of the food or the service.
My go-to for takeout sushi in Hamilton. Easy to online from their website and schedule a pick up time. They always have my order ready in time. Tricky part is parking as it gets a little crowded during peak times.
