9/10 Went in to ensure it was made properly (lesson one of the subway code). Man was pleasant, well mannered. Did toast it when I asked not to but may have been the mask. Actually obsessed with SunChips. It’s a problem.

The lady who made my sub was pleasant and it was tasty- no issues there! The problem arose when It came time to pay. I asked for a glass of water and was told by the gentleman at the cash ( the franchise owner, I assume) that due to COVID, they couldn’t give out water but he was quite willing to sell me a fountain drink. I fail to see how dispensing a fountain drink is safer than dispensing water from the same machine. Overall, I was quite disappointed at being forced to pay for pop when all I wanted was water. I won't be returning to this particular Subway restaurant.
They were busy and I got the impression one worker may have been new although i had a few minor issue in the end the lady gave me a couple free cookies and was so apologetic about it I left knowing I'd give them another try
