I like getting honey here, there are dozens of flavors to try. I only get the non pasteurized.I get sauerkraut for my husband. The bakery is amazing fresh fruit and vegetables are great

Avoid the hot foods! The pork schnitzel with cheese and mushrooms that we purchased for lunch while passing through Hamilton smelled and tasted off...fishy even. Health inspector should definitely pay them a visit.

I just got from Starsky. I've never had an issue with any cashiers or the service until today. The cashiers name was Lwaite. Register #2. I purchased items . I was in with my two kids. One toddler and a new born. She greeted all the other customers but us. Not sure if she was upset with me or simply isn't aware that she was being rude . She pushed our bags and threw the receipt in the bags. You'd probably be able to see it through your camera. I asked her why she pushed my bags and she responded it was her job to push the bags away. I responded that there's a more polite way to do that , her response was " I did it how I did it and laughed with the customer who was in line. When I asked for her name she stormed out to the the little Cafe by the bathroom . Very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful.

First visit. Prices are comparable and less than major grocery stores. Produce and vegetables amazing. Will definitely go back weekly

Let me start by saying we've purchased from the etobicoke and mississauga Starsky numerous times.Today my wife brought home hot plates from Starsky like we usually do. She got me chicken schnitzel and perogies and sauerkraut. I couldn't finish my meal and the sauerkraut tasted really off. I ate half the chicken and perogies before I started feeling unwellI've been spending the last 4 hours in severe pain in bed and just spent the last hour vomiting. Why are you serving food that clearly isn't cooked well or well past its expiry. I've never had food poisoning before and I will never be getting hot plates from here again. So disappointed

Always something new to discover. As someone with very limited Eastern European translation skills, figuring out the packaged goods can be challenging, but the nutritional labels help a lot. Largest selection of jams I've ever seen. Also grains, and soups. For a real bargain, the day old breads are an amazing deal too. But don't count on grocery store prices for stuff like milk and other staples. And herring lovers? Rejoice. Produce is usually quite good quality. All in all, it makes food shopping a fun adventure.

Deli meat is always fresh and the staff behind the counter work fast and listen to instructions well.Bakery section offers some incredible prices on fresh buns, croissants, danishes, etc.Vegetables always look healthy and taste delicious, but the prices on fruit/veg is not that good compared to other local grocers.Beer and wine available here as well.

Such a wide variety great stuff that you won't find at any other grocery store.Meat and produce are always quality. Desserts are to die for!Friendly staff.

Rude staff at deli and at till. Asked if they sold pickled kalbassa and was given a disgusted look before being told they only jar Vienna sausages. That's fine if so but that attitude could be left out of the occasion. FWIW pickled kalbassa is delicious. When trying to leave they had blocked the exit paths and unused tills and with carts and was told to wait behind customers like I was stuck in a drive through. Overall poor experience.

Come here for certain items. Love the large variety of fresh bread, pastries and deli options. Sometimes check out times can take long during certain hours. It always seems to be a busy location.
