We used to love this restaurant before Covid. When I arrived tonight with my husband on my birthday, though the restaurant was mostly empty, we were told we could not dine there because we had no reservation. Yet there was nothing on the website or outside the restaurant about reservations being required. My husband and I will not be back and we will not recommend this ever again. PS. We had a delicious meal at the Bombay Grill in Burlington. Check it out!
Been here a couple number of times & the ambience in this restaurant is wonderful! The employees there are really friendly & polite! From greeting us with a huge smile on their face to taking our orders & serving their delicious food, I really love their service! My personal favorite from this restaurant is chicken butter with garlic naan, it's the best combination! It's an amazing restaurant with many varieties of Indian food. I highly recommend everyone to order food from here online or visit the restaurant as you do not want to miss out eating such tasty food!
Went twice to restaurant. Website says dine in. Both times restaurant had all tables laid out and no one there dining but we couldn't get seated. We booked through their website but they said you had to call for a reservation. But all tables were available. It appears they only do take out. Then post that clearly on your website.
Amazing food! Hands down one of the best meals I've had. Has more of a home-cooked taste, which I honestly prefer for Indian food.We got the diner combo B for 2 ($45 before tax) and absolutely loved all of it! My companion's favorite was the vegtable curry (with spring vegetables, very fresh) and mine was the chicken sizzle. It was really enough food for 3 so we ended up with a full dinner and light lunch for about $53.Didn't have too long a wait for service or food but we went early. Dinner rush starts around 6pm and there's usually only one or two waitstaff available. They are also taking care of pickup orders so just be prepared to be a bit patient.Definitely a gem and great for those with a budget!
The food is good. VERY spicy tho. I ordered from ubereats and requested that it’s not too spicy and I don’t know if this is intentional or not as this is the third time it happens when I ask fro it not to be too so it. the order I just got is TOO spicy. I am middle Eastern so I can handle my spice but this one goes straight to the garbage can as it is purely harmful to my tastebuds and my face at this point.
I ordered three items as an order but only got two of them . And when I called them to check they said they cannot send anyone to deliver without acknowledging that why I’m upset for not getting dessert in my dinner. Not sure why they did it checked out properly before handing over the order to delivery person .Please make sure you do that because e when someone gonna get their food after 60 min to close by location and they don’t get all items it’s gonna be huge disappointment for that customer . ????????????
Best foods I've tried while in Canada. The foods are full of flavors and chef's magic touch made it unforgettable. Will go there again for sure. Highly recommended.
I am a regular customer.. more like a weekly customer here. The first couple orders were simply marvelous.. and after that every week is either a hit or a miss.. some days are really good and someday I feel they food might’ve been not that fresh.. not sure what the actual case is.. don’t really know a better place than this in Hamilton for second opinions..
The food portions are great! ordered the beef biryani and had enough to feed three people. The meal was so well seasoned and was a good price. The only downside to this restaurant is that they are hiding their Michelin star chef in back.
$2.5 for stale Nan bread. The food at this restaurant is usually very good. Last couple of times I’ve found the bread to be either over done or stale. I ordered 5 Nan last time and they were all hard. I’m now frustrated to the point wear i think I’ll be trying a different place.
