Thanks to staff here helping me put together a box of sweets to say thank-you for my Syrian neighbors who have been bringing us food daily during Ramadan.
Good place to buy groceries just a little bit pricey. But show me a small business who can compete for prices of same products with Big Boys!
Nice store but their meat section employees are not very well trained except few and they do not know how to cut meat proper way specially goat and lamb. I request their owner who are very nice peoples, please stand trained employees in meat section and obliged.
Never buy Dryfruits, peanuts or any unpacked stuff, you will find bugs holes ect. If you want to return, the Cashier lady with a big silver bangle says we dont take back as per the policly
Giving them one star. EMPLOYEES ARE NOT WEARING MASKS. I HAVE TOLD THEM REPEATEDLY THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF RULES BUT THEY DONT CARE. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO MUNICIPALITY.OWNER DOES NOT CARE.BUTCHERY STAFF ARE ALL UNMASKED. I HAD TO SHOUT AT THEM. I HAD ENOUGH.YOU PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RESPONSIBLE BUT YOUR STAFF BEHAVES IRRESPONSIBILIBLE.Not one time I saw this but for past two months.No social distancing either.
Will be calling labour services on this grocery store with how poorly they treat their employees (no breaks, sexualizing the younger females, cussing out their employees, not respecting their space or standing up for them, etc). Horrible store. Manager treats their staff poorly, they make fun of customers in their native language, do not wear masks or handle the products in a sanitary manner. I keep finding bugs in the pastries I buy and there have been expired products everywhere, and the managers are disrespectful. They sexualize female customers in their language and curse the male ones out. If I could give less than one star, I would
My family shops her often and have been coming to this store for meat for many years. I wish there was more of a variety on steaks and other items since they only have T-bone steaks.I also have been unhappy with some products that we buy regularly always having the price changed. The prices are always changing. An example is tomato paste - I buy a large jar of oncu for $9 at another store and for exact same product at Samir’s they have now changed the price to 16.99. Same with the olives we buy - they used to be 8.99 and still are in other stores, but they have changed it now to 13.99 at Samir’s. I used to buy all these products from them but it’s extortionist pricing for imported goods. We buy meat from this store but other then that, I don’t trust the prices in this store.
Didn't like the customer service, The attitude of the manager was unacceptable The neat section staff follows a directive by manager that if a half Goat leg is available, they dont cut the another leg,why? They sre not selling it cheap 12.99$/ pound is not cheap.
Was my first time shopping there today and all the staff was super friendly! Many people took the initiative to help me find what I needed! Bought some fresh biscuits for a special dessert I will be making and they look delicious!
Fantastic spot to get your Halal meat. Great customer service and butchers are willing to skin, clean and cut the pieces to your liking without any pressure. Also carry lots of other South Asian and Turkish goods! Highly recommended.
